  • Lumine proves in the first chapter that just because she has been depowered, it does not mean she cannot kick ass. When she is boxed in by five Constillion Guard while protecting Paimon, she takes down three of the soldiers through a combination of sword work, hand to hand martial arts and using someone as a Human Shield against their allies.
  • When she meets Kaeya who is distrustful of Lumine due to her relation to Aether, she completely disarms him during a fight while surrounded by hostile soldiers.
  • While the Committee tries to figure out what to do with her, one hostile member suggesting to bargain with Aether using her, she makes it clear that she will not tolerate betrayal of any kind on their end. And if they do betray her, she will damn well make sure that they regret it by wiping the entire group out down to the last member.
  • After essentially being The Scapegoat for so many people's anger and frustrations because of her brother's actions, Lumine finally tells everyone off for how they keep treating her and that they actually need her more than she needs them. She highlights just how hopeless their situation is because Aether is just that powerful and makes it clear that he can easily slaughter everyone without breaking a sweat. After several chapters of Lumine dealing with so many people's bias, she finally lets it rip on them.
  • Lumine's confrontation with Aether. She's already exhausted from dealing with Commander Ajax and Albedo in a single day and is barely able to stand. But she confronts her brother just before he wipes out the Committee members and absolutely tears into him for his actions while she had been sealed away. Then despite facing nothing but hatred and distrust from the Teyvat natives because of him she turns against him, claiming the title of "The Luminiscence" and telling him to get his troops out of Mondstadt and Liyue because both nations are now under her control. Note that this is her twin brother she tells this to.
  • During one of the Committee Meetings, Lumine finally tears into Veer for his constant antagonization of her. She makes it clear that she is sick of his attitude and even though the fact that Veer lost his entirely family because of her brother is the reason he hates her comes out, she makes it clear that does not mean that he has any right to take out his hatred and fear of her brother out on her.
  • Lumine leaving the Insurgency to help Ajax rescue his family. When she was with the Insurgency the first time, she followed their orders and had them use her just to gain their trust due to her bias. When Chongyun tries to stop her, she easily walks past him and tells him that the Insurgency had to gain back her trust if they still wanted her on their side.
  • Albedo. Twice he has nearly killed Lumine. The first time was during the destruction of Mondstadt. He nearly kills her, but she is able to subdue him. The second time, she nearly dies at his hands when he is lost in his grief and despair in regards to Sucrose' capture.
  • Lumine finally having had enough of the Insurgency's incompetence when they plan on imprisoning Albedo again after their failure to do so the first time and when they are just moments away from kicking Kris out of the group completely. Albedo and Kris are both powerful warriors that the group cannot afford to lose, so regardless of initially following the Insurgency's orders when she first came to them, Lumine completely overrides Eula and terrifies everyone into compliance. It works as Lumine makes completely sound plans to take back Inazuma from her brother and leads to the Insurgency conquering Watatsumi Island.
  • The Insurgency's fight at Watatsumi Island. It takes them three days, but they successfully conquer the islands in three days without losing anyone on their side. It is the first victory that the Insurgency has earned ever since they formed a year ago against Aether's reign.
  • After Lumine has been imprisoned by Apollo, Annabelle, and Malcolm for sometime she is a bit out of practice and malnourished. But she does NOT let that stop her as when Apollo lets down his guard when he holds on to her, she takes advantage of his loose grip to tackle Annabelle just before she teleports out of the cell area. She proceeds to payback Annabelle for the time she was imprisoned by fighting with everything that she has, instantly putting Annabelle on the defensive despite the kidnapper's time and spacial abilities. Annabelle is no warrior, and despite Lumine's weakened state, the younger girl is able to overwhelm her for a time. She also disfigures Annabelle with burns that will permanently scar the the other woman.
  • Albedo sending Apollo flying in that same fight.
  • Ajax, Albedo, Sucrose, Scaramouche, Dainsleif, Xiao, Kaeya, and Kris all going on what is an essentially a suicide mission to rescue Lumine from three people who have proven to be very deadly. Though they did not escape unscathed, their rescue mission in the end works.
  • Kris proves that despite being kicked off the Committee and the Insurgency's main fighting force, the Apex Division, she had held both positions for a damned good reason. When Dainsleif and Kris pursue the escaping kidnappers, Kris is the one who takes on the warrior of the three, Malcolm, while Dain distracts both Apollo and Annabelle. Though her wind abilities are temporarily sealed by Apollo, she does not let that phase her and keeps a level head throughout the fight. She observes that Annabelle and Malcolm make up for each other's flaws and that they are greatly weakened. With observation and timing, she is able to take advantage of Annabelle and Malcolm's weakened state and stab him, eventually earning a hard victory over the man who killed Chongyun and murdered several Insurgency Guards in earlier chapters. Even more impressive is when Apollo focuses his abilities on her, causing her to drop on her knee from the sheer force of it. But she doesn't let that stop her at all. Kris stops resisting Apollo's powerful ability, knowing she won't win and then takes advantage of his surprise to remove the sword she embedded in Malcolm and then launching it at his face, causing a surprised Apollo to panic and grab Annabelle, teleporting them away from the scene and leaving Malcolm at Kris and Dain's mercy. Malcolm would have died completely defenseless at Kris' hands had Xiao not intervened. Kris not only badly wounded the main fighter of the group that kidnapped Lumine, but she also forced the other two to retreat. While completely handicapped by Apollo's abilities to block a Vision user from using the abilities their Vision grants them.
  • Dainsleif had to fight both Annabelle and Apollo at the same time. While the two of them are not fighters, taking on the two City of the Stars citizens is still an impressive feat all the same, especially considering Apollo's ability to nullify a Vision users abilities and Annabelle's ability to manipulate space and time. Despite the fact that they weren't physical combatants, their abilities are still nothing to scoff at.
  • Xiao giving Eula a What the Hell, Hero? speech in regards to Lumine and the condition that he found her in.
  • Lilian, the Cryo Archon, mortally wounding Aether. She does not kill him, but she wounds him bad enough that he teleports himself out of the room, taking him out of the chapter for now. Even more so considering that Aether had already drained the Archon of her Cryo powers and just moments before, she was shaking in fear when he closed in on his location after she broke into a private area she should have been nowhere near.
  • The second rescue mission to save Lumine when she's taken by her brother. While Kris and Dainsleif go and take care of the Three City of Stars people, the rest of the group proceeds to break into Aether's stronghold to rescue the one person who can turn the tides of Aether's suffocating tyranny over Teyvat.
  • Chapter 44 is just one huge moment of awesome for the people who had been treated badly by the Insurgency in the name of the Greater Good. One of the biggest call outs of the flawed Committee.
    • Sucrose calls out the entire Committee on how they treated her after she broke out from Aether's stronghold When Veer brings up that Scaramouche was one of the Fatui Harbingers who threatened the rest of Teyvat and wonders whether he is trustworthy, she snaps back at him that he has no room to talk considering that she looked into his files and what he had done and therefore he was the last person to be throwing shade at the former Harbinger. When the others interrupt her or try to tell her to calm down, she proceeds to steam roll over them. She also point blank tells them that they are no different from Aether, and also tells them that how they treated Lumine was wrong and that they oppressed her in the same way that Aether has suppressed them. Sucrose's call out of the entire group tells of her newfound strength after spending so much time in captivity.
    • Albedo immediately comes to Sucrose's defense when Ariel tells his assistant to keep silent, essentially calling out the woman on using their current conflict as an excuse to avoid having to make the harder, but right choices in their war against Aether. While his statement is directed at Ariel, he is calling out the entire group on the choices that they have made so far.
    • Kris, the former Committee member who they had kicked out, takes the opportunity to lambast them as well. She questions whether they even cared about the people they claimed to be making the so-called good decisions for and then proceeds to criticize Eula's leadership skills by pointing out that many of their meetings had been pointless squabbles that went nowhere, with the meetings ultimately ending with them bowing to the strongest opinion. When Navya calls her out on her lack of respect and attitude towards them, like Sucrose she refuses to be silenced and turns the table on him by saying that he, and by extension the rest of the group, do not care about the people they claim to protect.
  • A dark example, but Mavey paralyzing everyone in the room and causing them to bleed out of their orfices is very impressive. Even if he was seconds away from nearly killing everyone.
  • In Chapter 45, a mob chases down Kris as she runs to get the equipment that Albedo and Sucrose need to operate on Scaramouche. While she does her best to avoid them, one woman's comment gets her to turn around and intimidate them, reminding them that she could easily take them down and that she had been one of the two to drag a badly wounded Malcolm back into Liyue to imprison.
  • Kendall standing up to Kris and essentially voicing out the feelings of the rest of the civilians. About how they are seen as burdens and treated like the enemy by the very people who are supposed to protect them.
  • Barbara helping Scaramouche from his mind rape from Aether.
  • Even though it's not a good thing and has divided an already fractured group, there's just something so satisfying about Lumine snatching half the Insurgency's forces as well as a good number of civilians from right under their noses. After chapters of their constant failures and how they treat Lumine because of her brother as well as seeing them mistreat their own members who have different opinions or call them out on their failures, the Insurgency can do nothing as every one of their actions bite them in the ass and all they can do is helplessly watch as their resistance is rendered in half. And they have absolutely no one but themselves to blame for this.
