• Designated Hero: Despite the fact that the Insurgency are fighting against Aether's tyranny, a lot of their actions and behavior and treatment of others leave a lot to be desired.
  • They treat Lumine like an extension of her brother, not trusting her at all and when their own treatment of her turns her against them they decide to treat her as an enemy and a threat. Even more so when more than half their soldiers sides against them and join up with Lumine because they have lost faith in them.
  • They subject Sucrose to a three way interrogation, with Veer shouting and blaming her for the attack on Mondstadt shortly after she manages to escape from Aether's castle. Not only is Sucrose is still healing from her ordeal, she's being traumatized by her own side. When she calls them out on it, Ariel dismisses her and says that she should suck it up because war is gritty and that casualties should be expected, implying that Sucrose is just one of those sacrifices.
  • They kicked out Kris from the Committee and the Apex Division because she called them out on how they were doing things. When she yells at them over their failures in Mondstadt, they would have kicked her out of the entire group altogether.
• Moral Event Horizon: Aether crossed this about a year before the main story. Ordering the executions of the Knights of Favonius and making a public display of it by forcing the people of Mondstadt to watch and then going on to execute the other members of each government such as five of the seven Liyue Qixing and Veer's entire family who were Government Officials.
