    General

    Season 1
  • Ayanokoji managing to effortlessly dodge Manabu's attacks during their first confrontation, with Horikita also figuring out there must be more to him, given his suspicious score of exactly half of the full marks on all of the tests.
  • Kiyotaka defending Airi from Yukitsu Kusuda by threatening him with the evidence of his Attempted Rape of her. Taken up the notch in the anime adaptation, where he winds up arrested.
  • Airi Sakura overcoming her shyness to testify in Ken Sudo's defense.
  • Ayanokoji convincing Class C to drop trying to frame Sudo for assaulting them by pointing out the cameras near the scene of their fight.
  • Uninhabited Island Exam:
    • Kanji Ike of all people proving his worthy by revealing his Hidden Depths by displaying his survival skills.
    • Kiyotaka successfully screwing over Ryuen and Katsuragi's deal by making sure Suzune would get sick, forcing Class D to change their leader and choosing this position for himself as by that time, no one would expect him as the leader, thus earning points from other classes' wrong guesses of Class D's captain. All the while remaining in the shadows, with only Horikita and Hirata aware of what he's done.

    Season 2
  • Cruise Ship Special Test:
    • Rokusuke Koenji correctly identifying the VIP of his group. While the anime makes the result of his exam a Freeze-Frame Bonus and makes it come off as him just happening to guess right, the light novel reveals that he correctly identified the traitor based on observation alone, after just one meeting and not giving much effort to it.
    • Kiyotaka managing to trick the remaining classes not only by using Yukimura as a Red Herring, but also preparing a countermeasure and switching SIM cards with Kei's phone, so that if anyone happens to see through his cover trick, they'd still incorrectly choose him as the VIP over Karuizawa.
  • Kiyotaka and Manabu's competition during the race and the fact that both went on equal pacing, outrunning everyone else. Bonus point for this being the first time ever that Ayanokoji has purposefully revealed his abilities.
  • Kiyotaka saving Suzune from Ryuen and Kushida's plan to expel her by preparing evidence of their schemes in advance, all the while keeping his identity hidden from them.
  • Suzune outsmarting Kushida on her own by warning professor Chabashira beforehand to only accept submitted questions by her as a class representative and ignore anyone else trying to submit theirs. Kiyotaka coming with a potential countermeasure by having Kei spill her drink on Kikyo's uniform while studying and offering to wash it (thus also getting rid of the fingerprints that she had threatened to spread False Rape Accusation against Ayanokoji with, assuming this was the same uniform and hasn't been washed before) in order to plant the cheat sheet on her, which they would have pointed out to their teacher had Horikita failed to outsmart her. Kakeru Ryuen figuring out the cheat sheet trick and not really caring that Kushida's been outplayed also counts.
  • Koenji being unfazed by Ryuen's visit to his class, immediately leaving and standing his ground upon being stopped by him and his lackeys, even forcing Kakeru to hold his mirror and giving him a mocking nickname. What makes this scene even more awesome is that this is the first time that Rokusuke's been put in a confrontational situation as well as the first time anyone stood up to Ryuen.
  • The final fight with Ryuuen and his group. Ayanokoji completely mops the floor with all four opponents, and finally ends the fight with him beating Ryuuen to a pulp.
  • While rather cold, Kiyotaka acquiring Kei's complete Undying Loyalty by first getting her bullied by Manabe's group then promising to protect her from her bullies with the threat of having evidence of their actions; cementing her complete trust in him after his delayed rescue of her.

    Season 3
  • Kiyotaka's group pulling off during Mixed Training Camp by coming with the strategy to have Yukimura, who's Athletically Challenged and has sprained his ankle, run the minimal length of the marathon required and have more athletic members of the group make up for it by running longer. One can also be impressed by Yukimura successfully finishing his part of the marathon in spite of his poor condition. Although the anime adaptation makes it an Offscreen Moment of Awesome, this is also one of a few times when Rokusuke Koenji actually contributes.
  • The Class Poll:
    • Suzune managing to briefly plant a seed of doubt against Kikyo Kushida by having her outed as the one who convinced half of the class to give their negative votes to Ayanokoji.
    • Haruki Yamauchi getting his just desserts by being expelled and right after he boasted about being safe thanks to Class A's positive points that Arisu had promised to him. The performance of his voice actor in the anime add another layer of awesomeness to the scene.
    • Koenji effortlessly stopping Yamauchi's attempted attack with a chair.
    • Shiho Manabe being expelled as well, especially with her VA pulling off equally as good scream of agony as Haruki's VA.
  • Kouenji once again preventing someone from attacking him without any effort at all, all the while getting a blinded by her love Mii-chan away from Hirata, who's currently experiencing Heroic BSoD.
  • Event Selection Exam:
    • Ryuen being back to his form by replacing Kaneda as the captain of his class, being the only leader who wasn't protected from a potential expulsion for their class's loss by a protection point.
    • Sudo and his team winning the basketball competition, especially considering they were up against Hayato Kitou, one of the most athletic classmates from Class A.
    • Hideo Satamura, who's usually portrayed as just a perverted Otaku, winning the typying competition against Class A, with the anime adaptation showing his incredible typying speed.
    • Akito Miyake winning the archery competition against Class A.
    • Ayanokoji, Sakayanagi, and Koenji successfully answering the humanly impossible Question 10 during the Mental Math competition. Furthermore, this feat allowing Chiaki Matsushita to figure out that there is more to Kiyotaka.
    • The fact that Ayanokouji would have beaten Arisu in chess competition had it not been for an unfair interference from Tsukishiro.
  • Manabu and his class managing to graduate from Class A in spite of the handicap preventing Akane Tachibana from expulsion has caused them is also impressive.

    Light novel/Year 2
  • Kiyotaka figuring out Kazuomi's plan to expel him just by noticing that the knife he's holding is the same one that Amasawa had bought for him to cook, purposefully getting stabbed by Housen to be injured and have his blood splatter on Kazuomi's uniform, successfully preventing him from Playing the Victim Card by stabbing himself and framing Ayanokoji for it. Ichika acting as the Spanner in the Works for his plan also counts.
  • Deserted Island Special Test:
    • Kiyotaka and Rokusuke's tug-of-war. Ayanokoji purposefully doesn't try hard so that Koenji, who's higher in the ranks, would have a better chance of winning and thus gaining more points for the class. He also notes in his inner monologue that he wasn't sure which one of them would've won had he actually tried to give it his all, which is a huge statement to Rokusuke's strength.
    • Koenji making The Bet with Horikita where if he scores first place, he'll be granted his freedom to do whatever he wants without being forced to contibute. He manages to do exactly that while on a team of his own. Furthermore, he regains full energy from very little sleep during the test and effortlessly walks away from a group of third-year students trying to stop him.
    • Fuuka Kiryuuin also managing to place well while, much like Kouenji, being a team of her own. Not to mention, aiding Ayanokoji in a battle against two well-trained adult men.
  • Kiyotaka orchestrating Takuya Yagami's expulsion during cultural festival without ever confronting him directly and before the latter could even reveal his secrets as he had planned.
  • Kakeru Ryuuen and Hayato Kitou fighting students harassing Miki Yamamura (and Takeko Nishino) for bumping into them during the school trip to Hokkaido, forcing them to apologize. Doubles as heartwarming, especially given this is one of Ryuen's rare Pet the Dog moments.
