     Curse of the Moon
  • The True Final Boss fight against Corrupted Zangetsu. This is awesome because of several reasons. First, while the player controls Miriam only, both Alfred and Gebel occasionally stand up and use their power to assist Miriam, giving the whole battle an especially epic feel of fighting together with friends, something that IGA has never done in any of the Castlevania series. Second, it has always been assumed that during the events of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Trevor Belmont fought Dracula with all his friends together instead of just taking one. While IGA can never remake CV3 with that option, he actually made the team battle concept a reality in the Corrupted Zangetsu battle.
  • The way Zangetsu finishes off Gremory if he confronts her without any allies. "Cleave the Moon" indeed! Slightly brought down by what you would need to do in order to see it, yet still a truly awesome moment. note
     Curse of the Moon 2
  • The introductions of the party members are amazing!
    • Dominique literally getting the drop on the Drago-Symbiote impaling it through the skull!
    • Robert jumping in and finishing off Lubius before they explode!
    • Hachi stopping the Gladiator Dozer with one punch just before they ram the train!
  • In the final intermission of Episode 1, the four heroes flourish their weapons in a somewhat goofy manner before tackling the stage. In Episodes 2 and EX, with Dominique's life at stake, they look much more serious and Stab the Sky together à la Three Musketeers.
  • The good ending of Episode 2 results in the party learning from Dominique that the moon's forces are launching an invasion and the only hope would be to somehow reach the moon. The group is quickly losing hope but suddenly, "What a sad sight for these old eyes!" Out of nowhere teleports Zangetsu's allies from the first game to help!
    • This immediately leads to another awesome moment in the next episode in which Alfred manages to design a special flying armor based on Hachi's armor!
  • Related to the above, the introduction to Episode EX. (How to get it)  Zangetsu grimly decides to make one final run to the demon castle and finish Mephisto properly, even if it meant killing Dominique. Cue his allies from Curse 1 appearing, chastising him for trying to go it alone again, giving him the Zanmatō anyway, and joining him on the journey in place of his injured comrades.
  • The penultimate level of the Final Episode. After gathering the missing parts of the flying armor, the heroes take off leading to a top-down shooter level as they storm the moon!
  • Following up on the "Cleave the Moon" example in Curse 1 above, Zangetsu finishes off Sariel without any allies by slicing both him and the moon in twain.
    • Summed up best by this Youtube comment:
In a fit of murderous rage, Zangetsu decides that the only way to break the Curse of the Moon...
      Is to break the moon.
    • Although, in a different direction of awesome, if you DO recruit at least one ally, Zangetsu borrows the powers of his six allies and proceeds to activate Blade Mode and break out Omnislash on Sariel, complete with a finishing blow that, like the two examples above, cleaves the Fallen Angel in two.
