WARNING!!! SPOILERS ARE UNMARKED!!!

  • Arya kills the three assassins sent by Joffrey to murder Tywin by herself, even taking the time to brutally interrogate one before finishing him.
  • Arya working with Tyrion to arrange Littlefinger's Engineered Public Confession, especially since it was Littlefinger who got Arya stuck in King's Landing in the first place. The cherry on top is added when Tyrion reveals that Tywin was listening in on the conversation as well, which utterly floors Littlefinger to such a degree that he can't even speak coherently as the Old Lion fixes him with the mother of all Death Glares.
  • After her betrothal to Jaime is announced, Arya runs into a very drunk Cersei, who baselessly accuses her of using the upcoming marriage to increase her standing. Arya sneers and bluntly states that she isn't like that, all while referring to Cersei as "My Lady" rather than "Your Grace" because she isn't the queen anymore. Cersei becomes enraged and tries to slap her, but Arya catches her wrist and crushes it, then fixes Cersei with an icy stare before we get this exchange:
    Arya: "Don't touch me."
Cersei: "How dare you. You forget who you are."
Arya: "I don't. I am Arya Stark of Winterfell. And you are Cersei Lannister of Casterly Rock. You are just a lady like me now. You are not a queen. You have no crown. And if you try to strike me again, I will strike you back harder."
  • The Freys kidnap Arya and Bran as hostages. They then send Tywin a warning to give them back their lands and include two of Arya's severed fingers. A royally pissed off Tywin immediately starts firing off letters to his forces to announce he's declared war on House Frey and is ready to wipe them out. His final letter is to Walder himself, unsigned and only one single line: "And soon the rains weep o'er their halls, with not a soul to hear."
  • Tywin gets another one after the Boltons are defeated. He visits Ramsay in his cell, wipes the sneer off the little monster's face by mockingly calling him a pale imitation of Aerys the Mad, and then cuts off two of his fingers as revenge for Ramsay doing the same to Arya.
  • Arya defeats Ramsay and then feeds him, alive, to her direwolf, Nymeria. Seeing Ramsay cower in terror as Nymeria advances on him is incredibly satisfying, especially after all the horrible things he did coupled with his constant bragging about being better than a wolf.
Arya: "I may be a little wolf. But I am a wolf nonetheless. You're just... a rabid dog. Do you know what wolves do to dogs, Ramsay? You didn't give me an answer the first time I asked. What do wolves do to dogs? It's alright. I'll show you."
  • Arya manages to evade Ser Gregor Clegane when he tries to kill her, even managing to wound him with a poisoned knife in the process before leaving him to be dealt with by Oberyn Martell.
    • It is heavily implied that by delivering that wound to Ser Gregor, she enabled Oberyn's survival in this story, as his fight with Ser Gregor in canon got his skull crushed. The knife she used was poisoned such that his reflexes were slowed down, which likely prevented him from tripping Oberyn the way he did in canon and killing him.
  • Arya getting the last laugh against a dying Cersei by revealing that, not only was she responsible for Joffrey's death, but Tywin figured this out almost immediately and shrugged it off because he hated Joffrey as much as everyone else did.
  • The Night King decimates the Vale.
  • After a tense, brutal battle in Harrenhal, the living win thanks to Daenerys' arrival with her dragons, Jon's discovery that he can ride on Rhaegal and distraction, Bran's sacrifice and Arya earning herself the nickname Nightslayer when she kills the Night's King.
