Shinobi no Ittoki (忍の一時, "Ittoki the Ninja") is an anime produced by DMM Pictures and animated by TROYCA''. It first aired on October 4, 2022.
Shinobi no Ittoki provides examples of:
- Bait-and-Switch: While Kirei is shown to be working for the Koga as their resident spy against Iga, she finds out she's not the one they're actually looking for after admitting to such in Episode 11. Instead, Reiha is revealed to be the plant that Iga is after.
- Big Bad: Kido Minobe is the main antagonist of the entire anime being responsible for every event that happened in the story.
- Cool Mask: Kousetsu is almost never shown without her ninja mask during the first half of the anime, even eating with it on. This changes after she kills Yumika while under Mind Control, and is shown without it going forward.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: When Koga attacks Iga, the fight is pretty even=handed towards both sides despite Koga's strength in numbers until Kirei destroys the plant where Koga's Mecha-Mooks are being produced. Koga's attacks on the other clans are more one-sided towards their favor, effectively wiping them out until Iga is all that's left.
- Feuding Families: The Iga Clan and the Koga Clan. Eventually it becomes the Koga against everyone else, with Iga being the focal point.
- Ninja: The series is set around them and the Ninja Tropes that apply.
- Ninja School: The one and only ninja school in Japan, called Ninjutsu Gakuen, where Ittoki transfers to.
