Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf — The Mythical Ark: Adventures in Love & Happiness (喜羊羊与灰太狼之喜气羊羊过蛇年) is the fifth film in the Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf series, released on January 24th, 2013.

A big flood is going on in the Green Green Grassland, and in order to avoid a watery death, everybody must board a spaceship called the Ark. The only problem: It requires one of each animal to work, and snakes are believed to be extinct in the Green Green Grassland. As the goats discover, however, there are a few snakes still out there. It's up to them to figure out how to get the snakes to the Ark.

The official Pleasant Goat YouTube channel has uploaded the film here with English subtitles.

Succeeded by Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: I Love Wolffy 2 later in 2013, and Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf: Meet the Pegasus in 2014.

The Mythical Ark: Adventures in Love & Happiness contains the following tropes:

  • The Ark: It does the "characters ride out a flood using an ark" plot using an ancient spaceship called the Ark. To get the ship running, you have to have at least one of each kind of animal in it... except the gang hits a snag there when one of the required animals is a snake, which they believe to be an extinct species.
  • Bag of Kidnapping: Weslie, of all characters, grabs a bag and traps Brother Bill the snake in it so that they can shut him up and bring him to the Ark spaceship. Wolffy even says that it feels more like something he would do.
  • Bamboo Technology: Quite literally; the snake family owns a fully functional television made of bamboo.
  • Breaking the Fourth Wall: At the beginning of the movie, Wolffy vows to avenge his "thousand episodes of insult". This wasn't long before the season Happy Formula, which had the series' 1,000th episode in it.
  • Diving Save: At the beginning of the movie, Weslie pushes Mr. Slowy out of the way to save him from shattered chunks of the forcefield he invented.
  • Eye Glasses: One of the snakes wears a pair of glasses that seemingly contain his eyes. The insides of the lenses are entirely white, even from the back.
  • iProduct: Wolffy's android lookalike is named iWolffy. Likewise, Mr. Slowy has a robot version of Weslie named iWeslie.
  • Noah's Story Arc: This film is about the goats having to get everyone into a big spaceship called the Ark to escape from a big flood affecting Goat Village. At least one of each animal needs to be in the ship to activate it, which becomes a problem when the goats need to find a snake, which they believe to be an extinct species, to activate it.
  • Not So Extinct: The goats learn that snakes are assumed to be an extinct species. As they discover, however, a small handful of snakes actually are still out there, but are hiding from the outside world and pretending to be other animals when they do go outside.
  • Robot Antennae: iWolffy, Wolffy's android, has an antenna sticking out of his head to distinguish him from the real Wolffy.
  • Robot Me: Wolffy has a robotic version of himself named iWolffy who helps him. Additionally, iWeslie, a robotic version of Weslie invented by Mr. Slowy, helps the goats and wolves on their adventure.
  • Shout-Out:
    • The flood and the Ark are a big reference to the story of Noah's ark in the The Bible.
    • Bieber, when he is whisked away into the sky by a bird who thinks he's his father and thinks he's been practicing kung-fu too hard, yells "This is a mistake! I'm not Kung Fu Panda!"
  • Wind Is Green: Wolffy uses creatures called the Weathers with weather-themed powers at the beginning of the movie to fight the goats. The one that controls the wind is a pale green color.
