Go To

Włatcy móch AKA The Lordz o' Flys is a Polish Animated Shock Comedy series, that was on the Polish channel TV4 between 2006-2011.

Not to be confused with Lord of the Flies... although the show's theme of ill-behaved children makes the reference rather obvious.

This show provides examples of:

  • Abusive Parents: Whenever Anusiak's parents find out about his misbehavior, they punish him by whipping his bare buttocks with a belt.
  • The Alcoholic: Marcel and the colonel. Marcel even told his former wife, the nurse, to bring him beer and vodka instead of flowers.
  • Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Implied. Anusiak's parents regularly abuse him and is the meanest among the boys, implying that his parents' abuse may have led him to developing this personality.
  • Big Fun: The nurse is obese and into every kind of music.
  • Big, Thin, Short Trio:
    • If Czesio is excluded from the boys, we have Anusiak, the widest and intermediate in height (big), Maślana, the tallest and thinnest (thin), and Konieczko, the shortest and intermediate in width (short).
    • Whenever Maślana is excluded from the boys we have Anusiak, the widest and intermediate in height (big), Czesio, the tallest and thinnest (thin), and Konieczko, the shortest and intermediate in width (short).
    • Among the zombies, we have Marcel (big) who is not really that big, but is the biggest, compared to the colonel who is literally half skeleton (thin), and Czesio who is the only child (short).
  • Bilingual Bonus: Ms. Frał's name is a homophone of the German word Frau, making her "Miss Miss". German is commonly taught as a foreign language in Polish schools, so the joke was obvious to the audience.
  • Body Horror: The colonel is a zombie with an exposed upper skeleton and skull, making him half skeleton, in contrast to fellow zombies Czesio and Marcel.
  • Cool Shades: In episode 9, the boys wear sunglasses as part of their attire to mimic American pilots, who they considered the best, compared to Nazis and Communists.
  • Cop Hater: The colonel told Czesio to never interact with the police and if they ask him anything, do not answer.
  • Dark Is Not Evil: Setryu wears a hooded dark robe that only leaves glowing eyes and a nose visible, but he aids Maślana in defeating the evil Shigella.
  • Evil Laugh: In episode 7, in a video game that the boys play, when Maślana confronts Shigella, she lets out an evil laugh at the thought of Maślana defeating her.
  • Evil Sounds Deep: Anusiak has a deep voice for an 8 year old, and is the meanest among the boys.
  • Expy: The four main characters are based on the boys from South Park, including a group of four but also share other elements: Czesio is based on Kenny (both have a bad case of dead) and Konieczko is based on Kyle (both are The Smart Guy of their groups).
  • Extreme Omnivore: Czesio is able to eat anything without harm, and in unlimited quantities.
  • Fat and Skinny: Of the two main adult characters, the nurse is obese, in contrast to Ms. Frał's extreme thinness.
  • Fat Bastard: Anusiak is the fattest among the boys and the meanest.
  • Fat Idiot: Anusiak is the fattest among the boys and the least intelligent, also possessing the lowest I.Q.
  • Fire and Brimstone Hell: At the end of episode 39, Zajkowski is shown to be in Hell, which is depicted with flames in the background and puddles of bubbling lava.
  • Half the Man He Used to Be: In episode 7, the boys play a video game in which Maślana defeats brown and olive green-skinned Palette Swaps of Czesio, by cutting them in half with a sword.
  • Improbably High I.Q.: Downplayed. Konieczko's I.Q. is estimated to be the highest in series, at 153, which is realistically attainable, albeit rare.
  • Improbably Low I.Q.: Downplayed. Anusiak's IQ is estimated to be the lowest in the series, at 50, which is (you guessed it) realistically attainable, albeit rare. The bus driver is estimated to have an I.Q. of 66.6, which depressed Anusiak.
  • Manly Facial Hair: In episode 9, when Czesio sees Hitler then Stalin, he starts favoring the latter over the former because he had a larger mustache.
  • Meaningful Name: Sweary the teddy bear swears a lot as his name suggests.
  • Miniature Senior Citizens: Anusiak's grandmother is half a head taller compared to him, in contrast to most of the adults who are at least a head taller compared to the children.
  • Nerd Glasses: Konieczko is the only one of the main characters to wear glasses and is The Smart Guy.
  • Old Soldier: Episodes 46-47 give us an old war correspondent that kills a tiger by shooting it with a shotgun, then killing it in a fight with a knife. After that, he kills a bison by luring it with a red cape, like in bullfighting, then stabs it to death. Finally, he kills a giant fly with a single shot from a shotgun.
  • Palette Swap: In episode 7, the boys play a video game featuring brown and olive green-skinned versions of Czesio as enemies and Shigella, a red-clad, green-skinned, red-haired version of Ms. Frał.
  • Parental Substitute: Marcel and the colonel act as Czesio's father and mother, respectively, on parents' evenings.
  • Pink Means Feminine: Angelica is the most notable female student in the series and wears pink attire.
  • Shorter Means Smarter: Konieczko is the shortest of the four main characters and The Smart Guy.
  • Shout-Out: Maślana has a dog named Rambo.
  • Supernatural Gold Eyes: Setryu has glowing yellow eyes, peaking out of a hood, and is a wizard.
  • Those Wacky Nazis: In episode 9, after the boys watch a film about Nazism, they wear bands of the Nazi flag on one arm, fake toothbrush mustaches, speak with German accents, and physically beat other students.
  • Traumatic Haircut: In episode 54, when Angelica's parents find that she has hair lice, they cut her hair, with her letting out a Big "NO!" before they cut it. The next day when she attends school, she cries.
  • The Undead: The series contains zombies, mainly Czesio, but also Marcel and the colonel.
