Infamous among many for a certain song that constantly played on the radio back in 2005, James Blunt was the butt of snide jokes across Britain (kind of like Justin Bieber today). It seems most people know him for that one song, and I haven't really heard much about him since. But if you haven't heard them already, would you like to know what the other songs on his debut album, Back to Bedlam, sound like?

Well, okay, this liveblog is mostly an excuse for me to rip the hell out of You're Beautiful. But that will have to wait until the next entry. First up is High.

That must be one fine chair. I suppose when you're locked in an empty room at night with the lights acting crazy, you'll fantasize over anything. And have frequent hallucinations of running in a forest. Hmm...this song is actually kind of unsettling. But he certainly does sound high. Why is he drowning himself? No wait, it's actually "Do you remember the day when my journey began?" Oh, instinctive mental connections.

Honestly, there isn't much to say about it. Sparse, metaphorical lyrics can work very well, but here, it just sounds repetitive and hollow.
