14:That's one way to resolve a love triangle...

After replaying the last bit of the scene before the battle with the narrators, John yells to Thresher, telling him to stop right there.

Thresher stops and tells John to let her go, since "she's nothing but trouble," and says that John has a gorgeous tie. Thresher correctly guesses that John's mom made him wear it, since only a mother would do something like that, and when John tries to say that he's not doing so by choice, Thresher cuts him off, noting that John has a great body, and notes that he also likes motorcycles, because of the power between his legs.

John's still somewhat hesitant, and Thresher tells him that he knows people like him are confused about their feelings. They introduce themselves, and Thresher insists that they talk man-to-man. As contrived as this pairing is, particularly Thresher's sudden interest in men, it's largely par for the course for PDWT, which considers foreshadowing and gradual relationship development to be wastes of time.

As they walk off, Jane suggests that her father was right, that some men are dorks, others are geeks, and there's a third group, but she stops short of saying something presumably homophobic. The game immediately ends, without any scolding from Harry or Thelma, which is a nice change of pace, given that no one could have predicted this outcome.
