* OvershadowedByControversy: The series, its various campaigns, and Arcadum himself are nowadays entirely discussed with regards to the many behind-the-scenes horror stories that popped up around August 2021, documenting a history Arcadum being chronically abusive and highly manipulative towards his players and fellow creators, including sexually harassing around 20 female participants. With just about everyone who formerly collaborated him -- players, artists, composers, business partners, etc. -- verifying his bad behavior and disowning him, making it next-to-impossible for the series to continue, it's just as unlikely that he will ever shed the bad press.

*** The constant tendency of Babylon to pop up for female players also becomes more unsettling, given that it likely wasn't that they actually found a way to call on him, just that Arcadum wanted his MemeticSexGod to interact with them.

** All of the sexual humor involving the [=NPCs=] goes from "funny" to "insanely creepy" when accounting for Arcadum's behind-the-scenes sexual harassment of the players that he would perform these scenes with.

to:

** With information that has come out showing Arcadum to be a ControlFreak and far more reliant on improvisation than he presented himself as, the switch from "Among the Reeds" to "Servants of the Spire" changes a fair bit, as the Depthar invasion was most likely something that Arcadum was trying to force rather than an organic consequence of the player's actions Nyanners had mentioned that he had neglected to provide her with any information on Zvaigždė even when she asked, so it seems likely that he did the same to Cyr to ensure that he would fail the test on Crowley that was spontaneously forced onto him.. Given that Arcadum had hinted at a FugitiveArc that the players actually showed interest in, only to then use what was effectively a non-lethal RocksFallEveryoneDies to force the players into a more standard and far more intensive campaign instead, it comes off much less like sociopathic characters getting their rightful comeuppance, and more like a vindictive GM inflicting overly-harsh and petty punishment on the players for daring to overshadow him and take his campaign OffTheRails.
** Many things about how he acted towards female players come across as a lot more uncomfortable after the information of his behind-the-scenes behavior came out.

*** In "Otikata's Curse", the last few episodes had some of the girls drinking during the sessions, which led to a few moments that were kind of amusing. A lot less so when the player clarified later that it wasn't the normal kind that they occasionally did on their own streams, but explicitly to calm their nerves enough just to get through the sessions, due to Arcadum's attitude towards them and tendency to neglect to provide any helpful information to them before it became absolutely necessary (and sometimes not even then).
* HarsherInHindsight: In "Otikata's Curse", the battle against the Mistwalker became a lot harsher when some of the players eventually came to talk more openly about what happened afterward; for the sake of brevity, this effectively consisted of Arcadum dismissing their (very deserved) complaints, talking down to them, and leaving them pressured to simply try to look at the bright side rather than be open about how frustrated and out of their depth that they actually felt.

Added DiffLines:

** The antics of "Among the Reeds"/"Servants of the Spire" were already funny before, but after the information on Arcadum came out, along with his ControlFreak nature and Railroading tendencies being made far more well-known, the fact that they were undoubtedly pissing Arcadum off to no end the whole time makes them far more amusing.

Added DiffLines:

** 17.8% This is based on a particularly infamous quote from one of the conversations that came out showing how manipulative and abusive to people Arcadum could be off-stream, where he claimed that he had calculated that 17.8% of the people that he ran D&D for continued to be his friends afterwards.

Nevermind, Arcadum confirmed that this is not the case.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: As amusing as the inept antics of the "Among the Reeds" party was, their bringing back the Mist as a result of a botched ritual was arguably a contributing factor in [[spoiler: River Styx being killed by a Mistwalker.]]

Quick fix.

** 7 Seven is a big ArcNumber in Verum, and thus any mention or roll of seven immediately sparks the attention of most of the chat.

** Those who followed the "Steel and Silence" group might find it amusing in "Among the Reeds" when Machio asks the same question that [=ProjektMelody=]/Terryn had at one point: "Are we the baddies?" The Steel and Silence party are more chaotic than anything, but in the case of Machio's party, they most definitely are.

* WinBackTheCrowd: A slight example with "Otikata's Curse". Some members of Arcadum's community were critical of him for placing one of the main story campaigns for Glies in the hands of a VirtualYoutuber group, under the belief that they would goof off, heavily lean on sexual humor, and overall not take take things seriously. Cue the first episode, where the girls's performance blew all expectations utterly and completely out of the water. Froot in particular wowed with her roleplaying as Mei, as did Nyanners with some surprisingly heartfelt moments as Lucine, though everyone performed extremely well. Following that initial episode was a number of apologies from several of these community members to the party for not believing in their ability.
