* BiasSteamroller: Mostly averted, but it does come up every now and then, typically either when he reviews an artist he never liked to begin with or when he feels a record lacks what he personally enjoys in a certain genre. His review of [[Music/PorcupineTree Steven]] [[Music/StevenWilson Wilson's]] otherwise-acclaimed ''The Raven That Refused To Sing'' was a [[NeverLiveItDown particularly notorious]] example of both, especially the former with his pre-existing dislike of Wilson and his purist attitude towards ProgressiveRock being ''very'' apparent throughout the review.

A particularly infamous example being his review of [[Music/PorcupineTree Steven]] [[Music/StevenWilson Wilson's]] otherwise-acclaimed ''The Raven That Refused To Sing'', where he criticized the album for lacking the excitement and intensity he looks for in a ProgressiveRock album (not helped at all by his pre-existing distaste towards Wilson's 70s-prog-purist attitude).

** He can also get [[BerserkButton quite heated]] about an album if it has a message he strongly disagrees with or finds outright offensive. His review of Music/ChildishGambino's ''Camp'' being a good example, which was ''extremely'' negative - for all the valid criticisms - to the point where it almost seems OutOfCharacter. He's never been that heated about an album before at that point, even giving Chief Keef's album and the aforementioned Steven Wilson albums higher scores.

* BiasSteamroller: Averted for the most part, but one has to wonder on his review of [[Music/PorcupineTree Steven]] [[Music/StevenWilson Wilson's]] ''The Raven That Refused To Sing'' if he's mostly just annoyed at Steven Wilson's 70's-prog-purist attitude and it's affecting his opinion. Likewise, his review of Music/ChildishGambino's album ''Camp'' was ''extremely'' negative, for all the valid criticisms, to the point where it almost seems OutOfCharacter. He's never been that heated about an album before, even giving Chief Keef's album and the aforementioned Steven Wilson's albums higher scores.

** He suffers this '''every time''' he criticizes a progressive rock/metal act, the most infamous being Music/StevenWilson, to the point where it comes off as a BiasSteamroller. Doesn't help Anthony is very snarky regarding how he feels progressive acts should sound like, especially with Wilson (and ''admitting'' he was never fully fond of Wilson's later work in Music/PorcupineTree and solo work).

* SmallNameBigEgo: ''Rearing its ugly head as of late''. While Anthony remains that his videos are his own opinion and is known to discourage fans from holding his [[ReviewsAreTheGospel reviews as the only good word]], his constant snarky remarks towards people who disagree with his opinions (even ''when'' they're just rage comments) and his constant screenshotting on Facebook of said reactions to his reviews rub off people the wrong way, making it feel [[{{Hypocrite}} he himself is taking his reviews too seriously]].

* BaseBreaker: His "NOT GOOD" series. It's either one of Anthony's best ideas and allows to him to go into more detail regarding why an album can be horrible in his eyes (ex: Corey Feldman's album) or it's just an excuse for him to bash acts he isn't fond of (as seen from the reception regarding his review of Music/Blink182's ''Calfornia'' and Music/{{Meshuggah}}'s ''The Violent Sleep of Reason'').

** Standouts are his reviews of Childish Gambino's ''Camp'' and ''Because the Internet'', Music/JustinTimberlake's ''The 20 20 Experience,'' Music/KanyeWest's ''Yeezus,'' Arctic Monkeys' AM, and anything by Music/PorcupineTree/Music/StevenWilson, Music/{{Opeth}}, or Music/{{Alcest}}. His ''[[{{OFWGKTA}} Channel Orange]]'' review also gets this a lot, despite that he gave it a strong 7 (which is quite a good score).

* NightmareFuel: Oddly enough, it's happened on this show. In the beginning of [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6wrqIndfJM his review of Courtney Barnett's album "Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit"]], we hear [[spoiler: Cal Chuchesta's ghostly voice crying out "Help me Anthony! Help me! [[ManOnFire I'm on fire! I'm on fire!]]"]], all while seeing Anthony twitch and have what looks like to be a horrifying flashback before shaking his head and starting the review. What..was...that?!
