* BetterOnDVD: The series pretty clearly works better as a longer narrative, considering that several episodes can easily be watched seamlessly. Sadly, it hasn't been put out on DVD or even Netflix streaming, so fans can enjoy it that way.

* CompleteMonster: General Modula was originally a reasonable, heroic man, but all of the good traits Modula once had withered and died when his former best friend, the King of Galaluna, mistakenly [[LeftForDead left him for dead]]. Possessing now only a lust for vengeance against his former comrade, and a thirst for conquest, Modula betrayed his homeworld to the Mutradi monsters and slaughtered and enslaved its inhabitants. Fearing that only the princess of Galaluna, Illana, can restore the hopes of the planet's people and have them rally against him, Modula sends countless monsters to ravage the planet where she's hiding out. It's made clear in the show that the buildings and cities his monsters destroy [[ConvenientlyEmptyBuildings are not conveniently empty]], and at one point Modula goes so far as to send a living bomb capable of wiping out a planet to earth all so he can kill one girl. While seemingly stoic on the outside, in actuality Modula is utterly AxCrazy and [[HairTriggerTemper is willing to kill anyone, even his own minions, at the drop of a hat]]. Instances of this can be seen when he smiles as he snaps the neck of a resistance fighter and when he casually vaporizes a minion who had failed him without even getting up from his chair.

** ''WesternAnimation/TheProblemSolverz'' took over ''Sym-Bionic Titan's'' timeslot after the latter got cancelled. The Problem Solverz was a show previously rejected by Adult Swim. Now that both shows are cancelled, Adult Swim actually choose the former to air on the Toonami block.

* MartyStu: Downplayed, but still evident. Nothing can touch the Titan, none of the enemies seen can even scratch it. No battle lasts much longer than a minute when it comes into play, and so most of the drama comes from the heroes being unable to form the Titan.

* MoralEvenHorizon: Any time Modula appears, he cements himself further and further, starting in episode 2, where he casually murders a resistance fighter by breaking his neck with a smirk.

*** Maybe's it because he's adored by the media, at least for his exploits in the H.M.E.R. robot. Plus, he's a decorated general, so he can be billed as that classic crackerjack all-American hero people take a liking to. The image is blinding the public to the fact he's NoBadassToHisValet.

* FanMyopia: It might be justified because of the series' short life span, but fans will make this show out to be CN's only saving grace to outside observers, [[WesternAnimation/AdventureTime disregarding]] [[WesternAnimation/ScoobyDooMysteryIncorporated the]] [[WesternAnimation/RegularShow other]] [[WesternAnimation/GeneratorRex good]] [[WesternAnimation/YoungJustice shows]] [[WesternAnimation/ThunderCats on]] [[WesternAnimation/TheAmazingWorldOfGumball its]] [[WesternAnimation/TheLooneyTunesShow line-]][[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheBraveAndTheBold up]] and promising to boycott any CN show that appears until the show gets a second season. [[SarcasmMode Which will work, right?]] The kicker? They tend to also forget GenndyTartakovsky left CN to work for Sony shortly after the series ended. The protest was doomed almost from the beginning.

** A large amount of the fandom seems to be under the impression that Lance and Ilana actually ARE siblings. Nice job watching the pilot, guys.
** And then there are those who blame ''Sym-Bionic Titan''[='s=] cancellation on ''The Problem Solverz'' despite the fact that it was greenlit long before any decisions on ''Titan'' would have been made. Look at the "Help ''Sym-Bionic Titan'' Get Another Season" Facebook group and you'll see plenty of posts still blaming and blindly bashing the show.

** Lance, as a child, still keeps habitually waking up at 2 AM after his father's death, as that's when he would always come home.

** It's brief, but after Octus is unable to revive Lance and Ilana in "I Am Octus" he makes this genuinely pained expression. He doesn't say anything and [[NotSoStoic it's a lot more expressive than he normally is]], so it's really moving.
