* Narm: In Parasite's debut episode, when he starts absorbing Superman's energy right in front of a crowd a female bystander watching screams "Good Heavens" in a DullSurprise manner, coming off as a little silly in an otherwise serious scene.
** "Prototype" has the infamous moment where Superman is temporarily blinded by the insane Sergeant Mills, leading to a bunch of sporadic piano music begins playing, but instead of coming off as creepy it's unintentionally hilarious.

The implication in the original entry was that she was attempting suicide, dude

** If she was too stupid or too hung up on her own ego to listen to the people who warned her about the storm then she has no one to blame but herself. And considering that she was a rude, belligerent bitch to everyone, even when she wasn't being a bigot towards Superman, you really can't feel that bad for her, as she's definitely more of a victim of her own arrogance.

* AlternateCharacterInterpretation: Livewire. Now, the main view is that she's a jerk who kept being a jerk and she has no right to be angry with Superman, having "saved her life after all." However, I forward something else: Her last facial expression conveys the emotional expression of someone anticipating, with glee, a lethal event. And not only did Superman steal that from her, he ultimately robbed her of her biological humanity. And I'd say that mostly justifies her actions in her first two appearances.

** , the EvilOverlord of Apokolips and the UltimateEvil of the DCAnimatedUniverse, turned his home planet into a hellhole and seeks to do the same with Earth. He is a being utterly incapable of love or empathy for anyone. He handed over his adopted son, Scott Hall, to be tortured and brainwashed by Granny Goodness, treated his loyal son, Kalibak, like garbage, and attempted to outright kill his other son, Orion while joking about it. Darkseid is also fond of conducting ColdBloodedTorture and killing minions for failing him, or even for questioning him. Over the course of WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries and WesternAnimation/JusticeLeagueUnlimited, Darkseid tried to conquer earth no less than three times. The first time he’s defeated he compensated by personally murdering just to cause Superman pain. The second time, he brainwashed Superman into leading Darkseid’s armies against his adopted world, turning the Man of Steel into a pariah for years. His third and final attempt stems not for a desire for power, but solely to make Superman suffer. There’s a reason why Darkseid is one of the only villains Superman outright tries to kill.

** As is usual for the character, is a horrible individual with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. In the first episode, he consistently undermines Jor-El's attempts to warn his fellow Kryptonians about the planet's impending destruction, since coordinating a planetary evacuation might interfere with his own escape, which is clearly more important. He even attempts to sabotage Jor-El's plans to save his son Kal, just because IJustWantToBeSpecial he wants to be the planet's sole survivor. After escaping the planet's destruction, he becomes an OmnicidalManiac, looting planets of their knowledge and then destroying them and all their inhabitants. Why? Because the fewer people who possess a piece of knowledge, the more valuable it is. And just to top it off, he's not even nice to his fellow villains: he has a severe case of ChronicBackstabbingDisorder, considering his partners and subordinates to be tools to be disposed of as soon as it becomes convenient.

* WhatAnIdiot: Lois Lane in Target. She's put herself in danger multiple times, but at least usually she didn't know how dangerous it was or at least tried to take some kind of precaution. Here she knows exactly how dangerous her unknown enemy is and she's actually has police protection. During a phone conversation with Clark she suddenly realizes who's trying to kill her. What does she do? She sneaks off to confront them face to face. While Clark and everyone else still thinks she's under police protection. If it hadn't been for Luthor just happening to call Clark to give him a vital piece of information she would have been dead by the end of the episode.

* WhatCouldHaveBeen: Bruce Timm and Paul Dini have stated that "Legacy" was not originally intended to be the end of the entire show, but merely a season finale (many people are unaware of this, due to how much the well-written and climactic "Legacy" episode certainly felt like a GrandFinale to many); there was one more season planned, in which the audience would have seen Superman dealing with the horrific fallout from Legacy, especially the fact that [[spoiler: a huge number of people don't believe his story that Darkseid had brainwashed him]]. It was planned to be the darkest season of the entire series, and would have culminated in a rematch between Superman and Darkseid, in which Superman would finally regain humanity's trust once and for all. Of course, "Legacy" did end up being a great note to end the show on and was very well-received, and two Superman vs. Darkseid rematches ended up happening after all on the sequel series JusticeLeague and JusticeLeagueUnlimited, and some of the planned story arc elements involving the government's distrust of Superman and Supergirl ended up making it into the Cadmus arc from JLU. But still, the hints that Timm and Dini have given about what the planned final STAS season would have been like do make one really wish that it had happened anyway, in addition to the later rematches on Justice League.

* CompleteMonster: Darkseid. JackKirby would've been proud.Darkseid, , the EvilOverlord of Apokolips and the UltimateEvil of the DCAnimatedUniverse. Darkseid turned his home planet into a hellhole and seeks to do the same with Earth. Over the course of WesternAnimation/SupermanTheAnimatedSeries and JusticeLeagueUnlimited, Darkseid tried to conquer earth no less than three times.
-->“I hope you appreciate, Kal-El, that everything that happens from this point is on your head. The skies will rain fire, the oceans will boil, the streets will run red with the blood of billions. Only then, after your last pitiful hope is extinguished, will I end your life.”
