** Also, the whole "characters get stuck outside Earth and attempt to get back there utilizing Stargates" plotline has been done before -- specifically in the obscure, non-canon cartoon adaptation ''WesternAnimation/StargateInfinity''.

* GatewaySeries: Some of the show's most vocal proponents are people who never watched the first two ''Franchise/{{Stargate|Verse}}'' series or weren't big fans of them. * TooDumbToLive: In ''Visitation'' we learn that the majority of the crew members that willingly stayed behind in ''Faith'' were too stupid to prepare for the coming of winter in any way at all, which includes the construction of shelter, stockpiling food, water and dry wood, and fashioning warmer clothes. A pretty predictable end to a group of 21st century humans reverting back to an almost pre-technology existence.
