* LateExportForYou: The US and Canada blu-ray of Farmageddon was not released until two years later of it's US release on Netflix. Granted, since a lot of Netflix movies don't come out often on Blu-Ray, Farmageddon might have been the exception for getting an Oscar nomination.

* {{Adorkable}}: Lu-la is a brightly-colored puppy-alien who's cute design and quirky personality has made her popular between the fans. She's also a kid, so that adds points.

** Similar the llamas from "The Farmer's Llamas" go from merely hooligans and petty bullies to chasing and threatening violence on Shaun for stopping them.

** When the sheep finally track down The Farmer, he's still suffering from memory loss, and shoos them away, leaving them heartbroken and homeless.

* UglyCute: Shaun and the flock's new friend Slip is supposedly a dog (at least she barks and wags her tail) but looks more like a mangy mix of a rat a wombat and a dog. She's pretty cute nonetheless, although prospective owners seem to disagree. [[spoiler: Until the end]].

* ChannelHop: Started on CBBC, moved to Netflix from season six onwards.

* RidiculouslyCuteCritter: Timmy.
* [[SamusIsAGirl Sowmus is a Girl]]: In "Karma Farmer", one pig wears a bra. The pigs being the pigs (and party animals), the evidence is inconclusive.
* SpiritualLicensee: The film, to an extent, is one for WesternAnimation/SheepInTheBigCity.
