* AcceptableTargets: Prisoners will kill people. Its a fact of the game. Sometimes, though, they'll kill someone you don't particularly care about. [[{{KillEmAll}} Honestly, its enough to make you WANT the National Guard to nuke them from orbit sometimes...]]
** Other Prisoners: after a while, depending on what kind of person you are, you begin to hate these guys. You make this beautiful prison, and all they seem to do is break it and get it dirty.
** Builders: [[{{ArtificialStupidity}} Their ability to prioritize is nonexistent,]] causing them to mess up the build order. Instead of laying down pipes and wires first, then objects, then walls, they will do things randomly, causing them to lock themselves into the cell they just built. Then, they will have to wait for our next entry to let them out...
** Guards: They can be as stupid as the builders and vicious as the inmates. If you don't agree, think about all those times they walk past an OD'ing inmate. Or maybe count how many beatings they've given out went on a ''bit'' too long.

** The alarm that sounds whenever a lockdown is triggered had a bug that makes the sound continue even after the lockdown is ended, and the only fix is to quit the game.

* UnfortunateImplications: Originally, the game didn't have option to try and reform prisoners, riots were much more frequent, and prisoners were always white. One particular youtuber went on a rant about the messages the game presents about the american prison system, and how being "tough on crime" and forcing prisoners into labor is the only way the game allows you to succeed. Subverted in that not only did the developers acknowledge the criticisms the video gave, but they also made an effort towards building a more well-rounded experience from that point on.

* GameBreaker: For a while, Tazers. They could be given to every guard, and could instantly knock out anyone hit by it. It meant solving fights were as simple as having a few guards with tazers nearby to defuse the situation before it could spread. Alpha 25 solves this by making some prisoners resistant to tazers and requiring guards to pass an exam before they can use them.
