* VillainDecay: While Zedd's marriage to Rita is argued if it is truly an example (Post "decay" Zedd having done more damage to the Rangers), Zedd and Rita being forced to travel around in a camper is a pretty solid example. Thankfully it doesn't last.

* FanonDiscontinuity: A Christmas themed FlashForward episode "A Season to Remember" ended with the reveal that Tommy and Kat are married, while their oldest grandson is implied to be a Red Ranger. This episode never rated very strongly, though this tends to be largely due to the {{Anvilicious}} main story seeing Mondo trying to drive a wedge between the Rangers due to their cultural differences. However, it's unsurprising that certain corners of the fandom (Tommy/Kimberly shippers mainly) objected to the Tommy/Kat revelation. Again, multiple [[WordOfGod Words Of God]] repeatedly supported the pairing. However, some point to [[PowerRangersWildForce "Forever Red"]] and ''PowerRangersDinoThunder'' as showing Tommy was shown without Kat. ([[WhatCouldHaveBeen Catherine Sutherland was to appear in both at different stages and demonstrate that Kat's relationship with Tommy was still on-going]], [[RealLifeWritesThePlot but rewrites removed Kat's scene in the former and Sutherland's then-pregnancy made the latter impossible]].)
* RescuedFromTheScrappyHeap: Rocky, after going from from Jason's replacement to {{Iron Woobie}}/PluckyComicRelief.

* AndTheFandomRejoiced: Who didn't cheer for the return of Jason?

* AndTheFandomRejoiced: Original Red Ranger Jason returning as the [[SixthRanger Gold Ranger]].

** What's really funny about it is that Nakia Burrise has a great singing voice. Jason David Frank... does not.

** Although the story itself of the Zeo Rangers being forced by Sprocket to hate each other can take place anytime between Bulk and Skull becoming detectives and Jason returning to become the Gold Ranger.
** However, any forum which mentions the subject will have several members who insist that [[TimeyWimeyBall Tommy and Kat's marriage must come to pass as there is no other possible way time travel could work in any possible fictional universe such that something we have seen in a flash-forward could ever be invalidated. And anyone who disagrees with them doesn't understand how time travel works.]]
*** Both sides conveniently ignore that WordOfGod from multiple producers has stated that the events of the future depicted in 'A Season to Remember' remain in-continuity and that, yes, Tommy and Katherine do wed. One of those production regimes even states that Kim married Skull. [[ShipToShipCombat As neither 'ship contingent is particularly happy with these statements,]] [[FanDumb both continue to haggle with one another like children over this.]]
*** Catherine Sutherland has even gone on the record stating that Amit Bhaumik had spoken to her about reprising Kat as Mrs. Oliver in Forever Red, and Doug Sloan about playing Kat as Mrs. Oliver in PowerRangersDinoThunder. The former scene was removed in rewrites and her part reduced to voicing a bad guy; the latter didn't materialize due to her then-pregnancy.
**** That's weird. You'd think the show wouldn't mind Kat being pregnant with her husband's kid, but hey, whatever. Of course, "A Season to Remember" has weird things like guns that make you antisemitic... about holidays. Not Israel, not the numerous conspiracy theories about Jews over the millennia. Holidays.
**** Well, nobody knows ''when'' they got married. (Or Sutherland was far enough along in her pregnancy that she couldn't travel to New Zealand, as I believe she had moved to the U.S. by that time.)
** For this Troper the main disconnect is not the marriage but rather the fact their kid is a Ranger who apparently works for Zordon and has a classic communicator watch. Apparently that is ALSO canon which can mean only one thing about Zordon's Heroic Sacrifice...[[IGotBetter He got better]]
*** Except ''nothing'' in the episode actually says anything about Tommy's grandkid working for Zordon. As future seasons prove, there are ''a lot'' of Ranger teams out there. Saying the simple usage of the classic communicator and tune means Zordon got better is quite a stretch. Heck, maybe an older Tommy simply thought it would be a good idea to reuse them.
**** Except his own SON doesn't know his father knows, so if it is Tommy he is a closet mentor, maybe Billy.

* {{Anvilicious}}: "A Season to Remember." Rather telling when the villain's main weapon is called the "''[[MeaningfulName Bias]] [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin Blaster.]]''" ("It will make people only see things their way!") Then again, SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped.

* {{Fanservice}}: Jason modeling in the fashion show in "Scent of the Weasel" and wearing red.

* FridgeBrilliance: "Mondo's Last Stand" featured Rocky displaying an inferiority complex. Whilst it never got brought up again in ''Zeo'', this would eventually lead to Rocky's GameBreakingInjury in ''[[PowerRangersTurbo Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie]]''.
** Tommy's sudden boost in intelligence and memory skills (as seen In [[PowerRangersDinoThunder Dino Thunder]]) may be due to Prince Gasket messing around with Tommy's brain in "King for a Day."
** Rita being pregnant with [[EnfantTerrible their child]] by the events of the season finale as per WordOfGod explains quite nicely why she and Zedd left at the end of the season, rather than resume conquering -- they were taking time off to raise their son.

Eventually he realizes on his own what he's got in Kat. WordOfGod even says this is intention to keep Kat for looking like a some heartless boy stealer.

* [[CrowningMomentOfFunny Crowning]] [[strike:Moment]] [[CrowningMomentOfFunny Episode of Funny]]: "Another Song and Dance" had Tommy and Tanya under a spell which forced them to sing every word they said [[FeedMe as if they were singing in an opera]]. Even their morphing sequences were redubbed to keep it consistent.

* UnfortunateImplications: The crew decided to reveal that Tommy had Native American heritage at the same time he became the Red Ranger.
** And also emphasize it in a way that basically consists of "brothers, an arrowhead, and {{Eldritch Abomination}}s", with AllNativesAreLakota thrown in. Granted, Lakota myths do feature brothers taking on an EldritchAbomination, but still...

* [Not sure of trop name]: But there has to be something worth mentioning about the Fact SixthRanger Tommy becomes TheHero Zeo Red and then TheHero MMPR Red becomes SixthRanger Zeo Gold
