However the scene makes it clear that Quentin believes that Freddy might have been innocent and it's not until later that he finds out that Freddy did indeed molest him and the other Elm Street kids.

** In the ''Film/ChildsPlay2'' crossover with Critic, Critic shamelessly whores out WebVideo/SuburbanKnights and when Phelous calls him out on it, he says “it's either that or another midroll” before grinning and cutting to commercial. ** Phelous's constant jabs and mocking of Creator/JodelleFerland due to her performance in ''Film/SilentHill'' becomes a bit more mean-spirited and borderline cruel considering Ferland actually underwent a CreatorBreakdown due to the immense nature of Dark Alessa, forcing director Roger Avary to apologize to Ferland's parents for putting her in such a dark role.

** His videos ended up doing this for Wabuu, as noted in Main/EnsembleDarkHorse above.

** All of the crossovers starring Phelan, Allison and Creator/BradJones are more likely to become uncomfortable to watch since the latter two are no longer on speaking terms with each other after the aforementioned "Not So Awesome" document came to light. Brad going so far as to ''mock'' Allison's struggles with depression in a later ''Cinema Snob'' video, which probably makes it even worse.

** He's gotten quite a bit of backlash for giving a negative review of ''WesternAnimation/TurtlesForever'' stating that it glorified the 2003 incarnation of the turtles and dumbed-down the 1980s incarnation of the turtles. The Website/YouTube version of the review had him confessing he had yet to see the 2003 series prior to first viewing Turtles Forever, which is part of what lead to him hating the movie. After watching the 2003 series he now admits to liking the 2003 TMNT cartoon and the movie isn't as bad as he once thought, but still dislikes the constant {{Take That}}s towards the 1987 Turtles.

** He has a habit of taking shots at political extremists and people overly concerned with identity politics. Though sometimes he also makes fun of people overly ''critical'' of identity politics.

** "[[Franchise/TheSimpsons The Simpsonsns]]", Simpsons bootleg toys with downright ''[[NightmareFace disturbing]]'' facial expressions. "Homer" missing the back of his head and the kids having dark rings ''on'' their eyeballs really doesn't help.

** "Monster Mike", a hideously deformed bootleg Ninja Turtle that's so evil, it actually has a pentagram carved into its head. The Albino Turtle from the second Turtles Fighters video is just as bad with its mouth and eyes looking like they're leaking blood. Needless to say, it has a pentagram too.

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: His House Of Wax review has a three minute long section of him and other reviewers 'celebrating' the murder of Paris Hilton's character so over-zealously that it's clear they're mocking the creators for thinking viewers wanted to see Hilton die gratuitously for the crime of... Being a somewhat vacuous reality TV star and having a sex tape.

** His "Old Man" from ''WesternAnimation/BeautyAndTheBeastGolden1992'' running gags. For some, the character is a classic RunningGag that is now integral to Phelous's humor, for others, has become tired, forced and repetitive.

** All of the jabs between Doug and Phelan in crossovers and such are not as funny now since the latter left Channel Awesome in less-than-friendly terms.

** When talking about which casting he prefers for Dragon Ball Z at the beginning of his ": Top 15 Funniest Alterations & Censoring" video, he says that would've liked it if they could have a merge of the two. Years later, Brian Drummond guest appears in ''Anime/DragonBallSuper'' along with the Funimation cast. Even better, he reprises his role of Vegeta, albeit a clone.
