With their patched, slovenly, and (with the exception of Hydia) very mundane clothes, their equally makeshift-looking boat, their fierce pride in their misanthropic and mostly deformed clan, and their general demeanour of a modern, working-class, dysfunctional family, Hydia and her daughters would be more at home in some H P Lovecraft story of backwoods inbred occultists than in "Macbeth".

* FridgeHorror: What exactly happened to the Grundleland, considering that there is only the total of five grundles left, including one female and no children?

* InformedWrongness: The ponies are meant to be made out as jerks for berating Baby Lickety Split, but she had deliberately screwed up the dance performance that they had worked really hard on, so it's understandable why they'd be upset with her. It doesn't help that they had even felt they were too hard on her after learning that she had run away.
