* HilariousInHindsight: Let's see, a charismatic sociopath who is knowledgeable about Creator/EdgarAllanPoe and is able to inexplicably enthrall a group of wannabe serial killers who [[DoingItForTheArt try to orchestrate their crimes as works of art]]? This is the best episode of ''Series/TheFollowing'' ever! This movie even has the extra bonus of mercilessly tearing apart the modus operandi of the BigBad of ''The Following'', showing how fast plans would fall apart due to their incompetency and how the wannabe killers aren't blinded by their devotion to the designated DiabolicalMastermind Alexander and gradually discover that he's really just a pretentious BigBadWannabe.

* CrazyAwesome: What Chris eventually turns into. Compare the hapless loner at the beginning of the film whose cat doesn't respect him to the blood-soaked chainsaw wielding cardboard knight in the end where he is reeling from [[spoiler: carving Bill's skull in half]] and the general death and gore that surrounds him.

Also he wanted to have Hellhammer put to sleep because he isn't cute anymore, in a way that reflects [[spoiler: what he does to those that he has no further use for]].
** Zycho unsurprisingly for a drug dealer and a [[spoiler: hired killer]] attempted to follow his employers wishes [[spoiler: and kill them all, succeeding only with Paul and his assistant.]]
** Macon unlike some of the other artists was a little too enthusiastic about killing Chris as an ends to itself and tried it twice first with an axe and then with acid. [[spoiler: Too bad it was acetic acid aka vinegar]]. Then he tried once more with his trusty chainsaw.
** Bill despite his detachment from the rest of the party, was one of the most dedicated to the idea of unprovoked murder and it was his suggestion to castrate Chris and set him on fire that showed how sadistic he really was. And as if that wasn't enough when he [[spoiler:heard Paul and Lexi mocking him behind his back and learned about Tim's lies, he completely lost it. His idea of blowing off steam was to stalk Chris and go on a murder jamboree, getting what he really wanted from the whole event.]]
