Yes he did; he just went for a coup on Munich first, \'\'then\'\' went to march on the capital. It was obviosuly going to be a LONG march, but in fairness it wasn\'t his idea; the men he took hostage in Munich were actually the ones who proposed it first and Hitler acted because he thought (somewhat rightly) that they had chickened out.
