** Tom in the "WHAT COULDN'T I DO..." vlog. While his TheReasonYouSuckSpeech to Jesse comes off as justified as his father almost ''died'' and is injured (as well as many agree he has a good point on Jesse never being grateful for what Uncle Larry does for him), it came off as him not understanding Jesse's situation and the abuse he endures from Jeff. It's especially ironic since Tom is [[OOCIsSeriousBusiness''rarely'' ever shown being "stressed" by what happens in the family]] other than ''being in his room all day playing video games''.

** Uncle Larry is extremely popular amongst both fans and haters of the channel. In addition, his son Tom and his cat Crazy Eyes (aka Garfunkel) are also well-liked. Tom in particular is seen as an OnlySaneMan in the dysfunctional Ridgway family, preferring to hang out alone in his room to be away from all the drama.
** The Ridgway dogs are also pretty popular.

** Jeffrey Ridgway, Sr. (aka Psycho Dad) from the Psycho Series might just be ''the'' most solidly evil example of a HateSink character in WebOrignal history (if not just fiction in general). Not even the likes of '''[[ChannelAwesome Mechakara]]''' and '''[[TheAngryGrandpa Angry Grandpa]]''', even at their absolute worst, compare to him.

** Tom in the "WHAT COULDN'T I DO..." vlog. ** Psycho Dad himself was arguably an Ensemble Darkhorse in the early days of the channel. The Psycho Series was originally much more infrequent, with the main focus being skits and stuff. As the Psycho videos became more popular, more began to be produced. Even now, some viewers still agree with him and choose his side over Jesse, though most still side with Jesse because of Jeffrey's increasingly dangerous and erratic behavior, to the point that some theorize he's going to kill Jesse.

** Anita, the farm owner, has been growing in popularity thanks to being a BenevolentBoss, especially after "LIKE FATHER, LIKE SON".

* HarsherInHindsight: All the comments saying Teresa should divorce Jeffrey Sr. become harder to stomach when the titular episode of the same name occurs.
** Terry cutting off emotional support for Jesse, stating flat out that he can handle Jeffrey Sr's psychotic episodes by himself. Echos the statements of Jeffrey Sr. telling Terry to "Stop coddling him" in early episodes.
** The title of Jesse's vlog "THE RAGE QUITTER *PSYCHO UPDATE*" becomes one towards the end of the vlog where Corn [[ScrewThisImOuttaHere quits his job on the farm and stops filming for Jesse]].

** [[spoiler: "Psycho Mom Divorces Husband" where Teresa decides to leave Mr. Ridgway after he gives Jesse shit for hitting Jeffrey in the head with a bottle despite Teresa (and even the fans) agreeing Jesse did out of self defense. After he ''yet again'' destroys everything Jesse has (Smashing his room and car), Teresa finally has had enough and tells him she wants a divorce and storms out of the house in frustration, leaving Jesse emotionally devastated]].

** "Psycho Kid Submerges Motorcycle", with many commenters and fans calling Jesse out for his DisproportionateRetribution over what was just a simple prank, and bossing and abusing his friends. As of this writing, the video has 17,000 likes and '''75,000''' dislikes, and Jesse has lost over 10,000 subscribers.

** Tom after [[TookALevelInJerkass Taking A Level In Jerkass]] and giving Jesse a ReasonYouSuckSpeech has gained a lot of criticisms from fans and commentators on how he's became a Jerkass towards Jesse. Granted his anger was justified, his delivery of his concerns and '''outright banning''' Jesse from even visiting Uncle Larry effectively cutting Jesse off from one of his support base. In his latest gaming video in Uncle Larry's channel has received more dislikes than likes and both his twitter account and videos have garnered criticisms of his attitude towards Jesse in "WHAT I COULDN'T DO...".

** Anyone who has dealt with a parent's sudden change of behavior and beliefs on the influence of a parent's PoisonousFriend or [[WickedStepmother Wicked Step-Parent]], really hits too close to home.
** Alcoholics who have or are in the process of recovering will find the antics of Melissa and Terry abusing alcohol, offensive.
** Double time for members that belong to drunk driving awareness and prevention groups like MADD and SADD, would find Terry and Melissa willingness to drive after drinking all day very offensive. Especially MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) will likely see how hypocritical Jesse's mother is, by driving under the influence '''infront of her own son's eyes'''.
** People who have lost loved ones to alcohol related accidents or health problems would find Melissa and Terry's liberal use of alcohol very offensive. For people that still have alcoholic loved ones would find it a trigger for their own AdultFear.
** In the vlog "A SLAP IN THE FACE!", anyone who's suffered Female-on-Male abuse.

** Jeffrey laughing at Jesse in "Psycho Dad Wrecks Car", after the latter had just torn his clothes off like he'd had a nervous breakdown and fallen into a puddle.

*** Some see Teresa not siding with Jesse over the events leading up to "Psycho Dad Bust Door Down".

** Both Jesse AND Mr. Ridgeway cross it when they ruin Jeffrey's Halloween party.
** Mr. Ridgeway earned the ire of many a viewer when he intruded upon Jesse's new room while he was playing games with his mom, and proceeded to yell at her for not telling him she was going OUT TO THE GARAGE, despite the fact that supposedly he leaves without telling her all the time. He was also mad because the dogs got out, but the main source of his ire was not being told she was going to the garage. He then proceeded to unplug the game console Terry and Jesse were playing on, and basically ordered her to come inside. This has caused many people to declare him a psychotic control freak.
** Jesse lying to his mother (not the first time he has done so) about the events that resulted in Jeffery's odd behaviour. The fact that Jesse puts the blame entirely on Jeffery and never mentions that he himself smashed a beer bottle on Jeffery to stop him from fighting Corn shows that he's willing to lie about his own brother's health just so he can get away scott free.

** Terri much to the shock of everyone crossed in "TAKING OUT THE TRASH!" when she shows a more JerkAss personality to Jesse regarding his obsession with recording everything and even saying she's done with him. While it ''is'' understandable considering he [[WhatAnIdiot recorded her and Jeffrey Sr.'s meet up at the mall]], the fact you're telling that to ''your son'' who just ''wants his family back together'' doesn't help the cause.

** Once again, as usual, Jeffrey Sr. crosses it in Psycho Dad Incinerates Fan Mail where he literally burns all of the fan mail Jesse received over the past year.

** Melissa slapping Jesse across the face in "A SLAP IN THE FACE!". She crossed the line that it even shocked Terry seeing Melissa slap her own son, right infront of her face.
*** Before slapping Jesse, upon finding out that Jeffrey Sr. was in the emergency room, Melissa casually and gleefully makes jokes about how she wish he had died or gotten cancer, rightfully angering Jesse.

*** And to add to that, Jesse was INSIDE THE RV as he was ripping it apart.

** Jesse in Psycho Dad Watches McJuggerNuggets. After Jeffery Sr. watches past psycho videos including Psycho Mom Divorces Husband, he puts all the blame on Corn. Who only filmed everything because Jess told him too. It took Jesse to a whole new level of low, so much so that more and more people have started to unsubscribe to him.
** Jesse outranks all of the previous crossings in the entire series by [[spoiler: '''murdering his own father in cold blood.''' It depends on who you ask, though, as Jeffrey Sr. most likely had it coming after all the physical, emotional, and psychological abuse he inflicted on Jesse.]]

** Psycho Dad Reacts to One Million Subscribers had Jesse constantly shouting when his was locked in the RV and being driven home by his brother. While the situation itself was serious, his screaming made it unintentionally funny.

** Tom's rant towards Jesse in the "WHAT I COULDN'T DO..." vlog, while suppose to come off as tearjerky and rage enduing comes off as Tom trying too hard to be angry and even sounding formulaic, going as far as using phrases such as "I will no longer be silenced!", especially with telling Jesse "I used to look up to you, but now I can't even look at you".

* ProtagonistJourneyToVillain: Some fans of the series, who believe it is scripted and staged, see the story about Jesse's slow descent from a good kid dealing with an insane and overbearing father and a sociopathic brother into someone just as bad as they are, if not worse given his occasional forays into GuileHero / ManipulativeBastard territory.

** Jeffrey Jr became more likable after the events of "PRISONER OF WAR! (PSYCHO UPDATE)" when we learn his FreudianExcuse, and that he seems to care a bit more about Jesse and especially Terri after she leaves their father.
** Aunt Melissa as well when we learn her JerkAss personality was just a JerkassFacade to be strong in front of Terri and dealing with ''her own abuse at home''. Though she managed to return back to the scrappy heap when she returned back to her old ways sometime in New Years Eve.

* TheScrappy: Pretty much everyone who isn't Uncle Larry, Corn, Georgie, or the farm ladies has a pretty sizeable hatedom.
** Jeffrey Sr. really is becoming this in the eyes of fans, with his controlling and flat out ''sociopathic'' levels of "discipline" to his kids and his loved ones. The fact he shows a LackOfEmpathy at the harm he causes to everyone and uses the excuse of "I was disrespected!" makes it worse... Although there are still some viewers who believe he has valid points, especially in "PSYCHO DAD'S BREAKTHROUGH, although what he said about Larry after he crashed his truck in the pool didn't help matters.

** Recently, Jesse himself has become the biggest one of all. The comments section has turned EXTREMELY nasty towards him, especially after he quit the farm job in "PATH OF THE ENLIGHTENED". Even more so after Psycho Dad Watches McJuggerNuggets, where Jesse tells his dad that Corn was responsible for the psycho videos even though he only filmed them. It's already becoming the second most disliked video on the channel after Psycho Kid Submarges Motorcycle.

** "BOILING POINT!" features Jesse telling off Aunt Melissa and Terri ''quite'' brutally over their behavior. Granted they call him out as well, but considering the BlackAndGrayMorality over a ManChild being immature versus a ManChild mother and her drunken friend who have become more full fledged {{JerkAss}}es, it's bittersweet.

*** Even in-universe, Jesse chuckled at his LaserGuidedKarma.

* {{Wangst}}: Though Jesse does have his fair share of issues, and is often justified in reacting the way he does when his dad breaks his stuff, he tends to overreact just as much. A more recent example would be when he starts crying after Jeffrey gets mad at Uncle Larry when the latter has him dress in a humiliating costume for a skit.

* HoYay: Jesse and Corn, as they're often together in the videos, to the point that Jefferey Sr. assumed that Corn lives with the Ridgeways and Chris asked if they were "gay buddies". One [=QnA=] video even had a thumbnail of Jesse about to suck [[FreudWasRight Corn's corn]], although it was quickly changed after.

** "X is a [[{{Badass}} savage]]!" (or other variants thereof)

** This is also the case for the {WebVideo/AngryGrandpa} crossover videos where Jesse acts a lot like his Psycho Kid persona to the point where Michael (Pickle Boy) says he wasn't like this when they met at Vidcon and that the Psycho series has messed with his mind.

* BecomingTheMask: Seeing that Jesse has slipped into brief temper tantrums due to his "friend" Brian delaying him uploading the behind the scenes, it's possible that after acting in the Psycho Series for over 3 years, a part of Psycho Kid has permanently become part of Jesse's real life personality.

* Brian, AKA YouTuber24, initially just a side character when Jesse was living on Aunt Melissa's property. Crossed into this territory when Brian showed his true colors of a JerkAss and threatened [[FrivolousLawsuit to sue]] Jesse if he released any more behind the scenes footage before Brian airs his documentary.

* HoYay: Jesse and Corn, as they're often together in the videos, to the point that Jefferey Sr. assumed that Corn lives with the Ridgeways. One QnA video even had a thumbnail of Jesse about to suck [[FreudWasRight Corn's corn]], although it was quickly changed after.

* HoYay: People have started shipping Jesse and Corn.

*** Jesse's response to [[spoiler:Jeffrey Jr. asking if he'll kill him after he sees him killing Jeffrey Sr.]]: '''"I'LL DO WHATEVER I NEED TO DO...TO SURVIVE!"'''. The line is spoken as barbarically as you think it would, and sounds like something a caveman would say.

** Demma, an inanimate object that Jesse believes to be a demon. It is hated due to Jesse forcing it down viewers throats and being nothing more than to show that he is going insane. Some also find Jesse's borderline obsessive attachment to it to be irritating. Case in point: after Jesse destroys Psycho Dad's television, making the need to get away from the Ridgway house rather urgent, he ''gets out of the car'' to grab "Damien" and "Emma" (before he combined them). Even Uncle Larry [[LampshadeHanging lampshaded]] this with an exasperated-sounding "really, Jess?" Many viewers can't wait to see Mr. Ridgway destroy it.

*** The other reason largely stems from her FrivolousLawsuit threats against the Wikia, demanding that any personal information that pertains to her and her family to be removed when the information are publically avalable via her social media accounts and Jesse's own vlogs. It was the moment where Juliette showed her JerkAss self off camera in stark contrast to her nice persona in Jesse's vlogs. This caused many editors to lose complete respect towards her
