* HilariousInHindsight: The name of the BurgerFool joint in the film? ''WebAnimation/BigtopBurger''. Creator Ian "Worthikids" Worthington [[https://i.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/882/913/cd8.png has sworn]] that it was coincidental since he didn't watch ''Killer Klowns from Outer Space'' before releasing his animation.

** The two female Klowns just leave the Terenzi Brothers covered in kisses instead of killing them. Were they trying to rape the men so they could become pregnant and produce more Klowns, or were they just really [[IncrediblyLamePun horny]]?

** Jumbo attempting to lure a little girl out of the fast food, due to it being a [[NightmareFuel genuinely unnerving]] scene.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments:
** Slim killing the driver with his invisible car falls more into the comedic spectrum of this Horror-Comedy given how absurd it looks, like [[https://youtu.be/t2eUUHkpvQA?t=227 something straight out]] of ''WebAnimation/TheGmodIdiotBox''.
** The scene where Rudy and Shorty examine some items in a pharmacy. It almost verges in being [[CreepyCute oddly adorable]] because it shows a curious animal side in the Klowns' personality instead of being one-note monsters.
** When Debbie hears knocking at her door and Mike calling her only to find out it's Slim [[VoiceChangeling imitating his voice]] and slams the door shut, the Klown knocks again ''[[ThereIsNoKillLikeOverkill much faster]]'' to the point it sounds like a jackhammer.

* SugarWiki/FunnyMoments: The scene where Rudy and Shorty examine some items in a pharmacy. It almost verges in being [[CreepyCute oddly adorable]] because it shows a curious animal side in the Klowns' personality instead of being one-note monsters.

* TooDumbToLive: The uncocooned citizen during the Klown parade scene who could've survived had he just waited until they were gone. Admittedly the Klowns themselves to an extent; they have figured out advanced space travel, but can't be bothered to protect their only AchillesHeel.

* FetishRetardant: At one point the Terenzi brothers find themselves in a ball pit on the alien ship and are accosted by [[GreenSkinnedSpaceBabe two female klowns]] with [[BreastExpansion expanding]] GagBoobs. However, while poking fun at the BoldlyComing trope (when the brothers return, they are covered in kisses), the female klowns are depicted using the same unsettling [[UncannyValley human-but-not-quite]] prosthetics as the male klowns, and of course, clown make-up which distorts their features even further.

** The Klowns' [[https://youtu.be/eyl6YOR48QI March]] music. Composer John Massari later made a new [[https://youtu.be/Zw4L5PKtlDA expanded version]]!

* InferredHolocaust: It's never spelled out just how many people were killed by the Klowns, but they were scooping people up all over town (to the point that they needed a giant vacuum cleaner for the job) and there were a ''lot'' of cotton candy cocoons in the tent ship. The number's probably in the hundreds, and Mike even thinks that the Klowns captured the whole town. The movie ends on a lighthearted PieInTheFace gag however.

* NarmCharm: ''The entire point of the film!'' The movie is an Eighties-fused take on 50s B-Movies with a campy premise and lots of laughs as well as horror. It's why the film has cultivated a loyal and dedicated cult following.

* SoBadItsGood: Notably averted. The movie is often mistaken for this because of its premise, but it's actually an intentionally funny movie with imaginative set design and monster effects.

** In a meta sense- The car that fell the way it did in the chase scene wasn't supposed to do that but instead fall all the way down. However the crew forgot to remove the stoppers.
** In a less meta sense. Debbie's arm disappears into a matte painting, Mike ''almost'' trips on top of the Terenzi brothers[[note]]who were supposed to be down a trap door at this point[[/note]], and a zipper can be seen on the back of a Klown's head at one point. Some of the optical effects, like the shadow puppet are also suspect.
