** One of the original movie's most iconic aspects - its RashomonStyle storyline that was recounted from multiple character's points of view - is completely absent, which robs the sequel of what made the first movie interesting.

* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Many of the changes to the cast's personalities were not received well:
** Red TookALevelInJerkass, going from a sweet ([[DeadpanSnarker albeit snarky]]) girl who could kick butt and take names to a generic tough girl who refuses to play with others.
** Wolf TookALevelInDumbass, going from a ConsummateProfessional who took his job seriously to a loose cannon who constantly jeopardizes the mission through his own stupidity.
** Twitchy's iconic way of speaking was changed. In the original movie, Cory Edwards' dialogue was sped-up by approximately 50%, giving Twitchy a distinctively [[MotorMouth high-pitched, hyperactive voice]]. In this movie, the voice was pitched up but ''not'' sped up, which isn't nearly as funny to listen to.
