** There are several action scenes where people are clearly just walking behind the false fronts of the building, even taking cover behind them in ways that should mean they're standing inside a wall.

* WhatAnIdiot: The Mayor. With Cane's increased desire and efforts to kill him, he does nothing to have Cane arrested or arm himself for self-defense on an equal level. Even after he witnesses Joshua get shot, he remains unarmed and in the open while his wife goes to find a gun. She ends up TakingTheBullet for him and he dies moments later.

** Characters frequently just walk out from behind the false fronts that make up the town. A few of the gunfights actually seem to incorporate it.

* MoralEventHorizon: Caine doesn't actually cross this until he shoots the Mayor's wife (he was aiming for the Mayor, but still...)
* SpecialEffectsFailure: Two glaring incidents in the movie, and they're done multiple times. The first is when Erica enters Caine's room and the door opens ''outward'', leading to the first of many running gags:
-->'''Crow:''' Wha... Doors don't open like that! There's a number... ''he's in the hall!''

** In defense of the last one, before the final confrontation, he tells his wife to get his gun, but she's killed TakingTheBullet for him.
*** It's not even that: He remained unarmed even after witnessing Joshua get shot and it was his wife's idea to go ''find'' a gun, not retrieve one, while he stayed out in the open.
