Not even a fan of this series at all, yet both of these are very well known even outside of its fanbase, hence why I know of them, and I know many others do as well, making it fall right into It Was His Sled territory.

That is not even close tu accurate, let alone "immensely". At best, they compete in terms of fanfics, but on fanart, Yuno beats pretty much every other character by a wide margin and, as such, there's far more Yuno/Yuki fanart than any other pairing.
