* MisBlamed: Fans of ''Franchise/DragonBall'' were up in arms when Junta's "Mega Playboy" mode made its debut in ''Weekly Shōnen Jump'', because it was a very obvious Super Saiyan rip-off. The one who made the suggestion to Katsura in the first place? Creator/AkiraToriyama.
** NeverLiveItDown: Ever since Katsura has been wary of taking Toriyama's advice, even when the two worked together on ''Sachie-chan Guu!!'' and ''Jiya''.

Which brings us to... NothingCanStopUsNow. It's like the BigBad was [[IncrediblyLamePun desperately clutching]] [[VillainBall both]] [[IdiotBall balls]] for the entirety of the plot. In the end, [[spoiler:he travels back in time to personally taunt [[WhyDontYaJustShootHim people he's already effectively defeated]], and accomplishes nothing for it except being DrivenToSuicide when his minions are all erased from existence]].

To make matters worse, it's Karin herself who removes the DNA from him, because she knows he loves Ami and she leaves for the future.]] On the one hand, good things did come out of this, but ultimately the sad things outweigh it.
