COVID shoehorn and Fan Myopia

* HarsherInHindsight: The game's backstory mentions that five years before the game's setting of the year 2027, there was a global economic collapse. As of this writing, there is still one year left before 2022, and many world nations are still feeling the economic impact of the UsefulNotes/COVID19Pandemic. The long-term effects it will have on the world economy still remain to be seen...
* HilariousInHindsight: Though somewhat an obscure title, it would not be the only time you could watch [[WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles 3D animated characters involved in a base-infiltration operation involving fighting off guards in hallways, walking into booby traps, evading Helicrafts and other flying killing machines and trying to stop a secret weapon from being unleashed upon the world.]]

* DesignatedVillain: Devlin arguably. Although he is the leader of what's stated to be an exploitative and repressive regime, his role in the game's plot doesn't involve anything particularly evil, he merely wants to destroy a facility that houses incredibly dangerous technologies that pose a threat to the world and that even the scientists who created it make the decision to seal and quarantime themselves in. The only really villainous thing he does in the game is betray Zak and turn him into an unwilling suicide bomber, but one could even argue that [[TheNeedsOfTheMany prioritizing eliminating such a severe threat to the world over the life of a criminal]] isn't a particularly villainous route either.

* PlotIrrelevantVillain: The Cartel really only exist to have enemies in the shooting sequences because outside of this they play no real impact on the plot. The exact same plot could play out without the shooting sequences.

* WellIntentionedExtremist: Devlin. His plan in the game is to orchestrate the destruction of a facility that houses very dangerous technologies and must be quarantined regardless. The only really villainous thing he does in the game is betray Zak and turn him into an unwilling suicide bomber, but one could even argue that [[TheNeedsOfTheMany prioritizing eliminating such a severe threat to the world over the life of a criminal]] isn't a particularly villainous route either.

* {{Narm}}: Almost all of the death sequences are unintentionally hilarious. In one example, you can die by ''sticking your hand in a barrel.'' It doesn't dissolve or anything: Zak sticks it in, yanks his hand out in pain, and then a game over screen appears. [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tLmbzZa808&list=PL6CA20EDB748C44D1&index=1&feature=plpp_video#t=07m45s Quite possibly one of the most baffling ways to die in a video game EVER]]. Uncanny Valley is IUEO now and the subjective version has been split; cleaning up misuse and ZCE in the process

* UncannyValley: Granted, it's an early PC and console game, but most of the characters look like store display mannequins with blank expressions on their face, even when they're angry. Can be both disturbing, or funny.
