* BrokenBase: The strips suggesting that Lucca saving her mother from being crippled was a ''bad'' thing did not get good reactions from some.
* ContinuityLockOut: It's a fairly complex plot, so it easily causes this.

* WhatAnIdiot: Zeromus is the incarnation of Alex's hatred. His hatred...of coffee! Alex's real hatred is of [[spoiler:stupid people]].

* ArcFatigue: Some chapters go on so long, and change perspective so frequently, and have so many hiatuses inbetween that you completely forget what happened immediately before, during, or after the scene we're watching. Given that other characters have commented on this in story, however, it can justified as Alex's way of telling long stories.

Daos goes to take it, and then Dracula shows up to take, [[SerialEscalation then Kefka, then Gannon, than M. Bison, and then Bowser with a bunch of minions]]. An annoyed Daos proclaims "There's only way to decided who gets to destroy the world, FIGHT IT OUT!" Then it turns out Alex was watching this on DVD and we don't get to see the fight. A caption a bottom says "If you were to make a flash of this, you would be my personal hero."
