** After half of the Twelve Guardians received their 7-Star form, some theorized that '''all''' of them would receive one sooner or later. As of December 2015, they were right.
** [[spoiler:Barion cursing Mora for having "the cursed blood of Estria" led to theories that she might be Adel and Savia's daughter. While Mora herself doesn't truly confirm it, there are enough hints in Estria that it's true.]]
** Zelnite, Elza, and Shida winning the "What Units would you like to have 7-Star form" Japanese poll. Some had predicted it since the poll was announced.
** Due to how lackluster the 30-day Daily Log-in Rewards for Second Anniversary in Global version were, many expected that it would be extended. It was extended for ten more days with more worthy rewards.
** Many players have made several fan-made {{VideoGame/Deemo}} and the Girl's 6-Star form, with most of them based their appearances and skill names on Myosotis, [=ANiMa=], Entrance, and Sanctity. The original Deemo and the Girl eventually take the former two, while the new Dark version based on Saika take the latter two.
** Since Frontier Hunter Season 25 features Reda, who is a Japan-exclusive unit, most predicted that she would be either removed or replaced. She's replaced by Lucia, a Global-exclusive unit.
** Avant winning the "What Units would you like to have Omni Evolution" Japanese poll. Literally ''everyone'' saw it coming.
** Krantz as the runner up at the same poll. Way before the reveal, Japanese forums already had speculations about it. It turned out to be spot on.

* ShipTease: There's a few of these in some units' flavor texts. They became less of a teasing as time passed on and more pairs of units were confirmed as [[OfficialCouple Official Couples]] from the start.
** Zeln/Nemia: Certain on Zeln's side, considering that his 4-Stars and 5-Stars forms' lores states that he focused on training himself to follow her.
** Vargas/Lava: Small, but it's there. It's also a crossover with FoeRomanceSubtext, considering that Lava defeated Vargas before she opened up to others, and in her 5-Stars form's lore it was stated that she "wanted a rematch with Vargas even more than a battle with the gods". Also, Vargas's 6-Stars forms' lore outright stated that the wings on his back were given to him by Lava. [[spoiler:And then there's Lava [[DiedInYourArmsTonight dying in Vargas' arms]] after saving him from Tia and using all her energy fending off the next Disciple's (Phee) ambush.]]
** Loch/Edea, at least one-sided, considering he chose to come out of his self-imposed exile to join her. Dean even shipped them and wondered why they didn't just hook up from the get-go.
** Rashil/Reeze began as a PairTheSpares as they're the only ones in their batch who don't have explicit intimate connections with each other. Then their batch's Grand Gaia Chronicles was released, and it's revealed that Rashil does care for Reeze despite her ignorance and his obsession of Lilith. He even said her name more than anyone else's, and (in the Japanese version) dropped the honorific he uses for her once she's in danger of defeat by Vishra. [[spoiler:And in Volume 3 for their [=GGC=], both Rashil and Reeze must be killed in order to stop them from continuously reviving Lilith; wherein they're essentially acting as Lilith's over-protective parents.]]
** Tazer/Tora: Tazer was the only Six Pillars who is nice to Tora from the start, and even protected her from Alpha and Kira. [[spoiler:If Tazer is killed before Tora in Volume 3 of the Six Pillars' Grand Gaia Chronicles, Tora will react.]] It does help that both of them are the nicest among the Six Pillars, Tazer's quest for revenge and Tora's self-esteem issues notwithstanding.
** Colt/Ivris: It was revealed in "The Correct Path" Grand Quest that Ivris likes to tease Colt and notes that it'd be lonely without Colt around.
** Galant/Lancia is mostly hinted in SpinOff manga, especially in ''Vargas Chronicle'' where they often teamed up to fight monsters, and Galant saving Lancia from debris in Chapter 7. In ''Haruto's Summoning Diary'', Galant's pet Salamander is also shown to enjoy Lancia's cookings so much.

Notable targets include Eze (who becomes a full-blown HeManWomanHater), Aem (whose admiration towards Will borders into {{Yandere}} territory), and Shida (whose MadScientist tendencies are turned up to eleven ForTheEvulz).
** Elza is now known as: 1) Alice's overprotective older sister, and 2) everyone's "scythe-wielding loli waifu".
** Similarly, Colt is now defined as an annoying little brother with a sister-complex who claims Claire is the best at everything, and attacks anyone who think otherwise.
** Nowadays, Kikuri can't go talking about anything without mentioning "blood" somewhere.

** Thunderbird and Great Falcon Ziz are considered bad to both their bad stats and Brave Bursts attacking random enemies instead of all of them. They are also flat-out [[TheScrappy scrappies]] as they can be randomly summoned from the Rare Summon Gate, especially when players expect far better units. Zazabis, on the other hand, gets the underrated treatment. Its stats are better than expected, so at least its usable on boss fights that are only one enemy.
** Part of the reason why Farlon is disliked is because his seven 7-Stars form is often seen as a bad unit thanks to his low damage output and mediocre buffset.
** To an extent, many of the current Time-Limited exclusive units in any given server. Most of them are fairly good in one way or another, but they are resented instead since not everyone can have the luck, money, or have hoarded enough Gems to summon them.
** Fadahl is often seen as, by far, the worst 7-Stars unit in the game due to his pretty lackluster kit as a Status Ailment inflictor. It comes to the point where he's the first from his batch to be ''permanently removed'' from any Popular Units Rate-Up Polls.
** Of all the six elements, Earth is considered to be the worst one because a lot of the Earth units are geared towards support rather than offense powerhouse. Making them fall short in comparison to other elements.

** Every time Lugina appears in a Trial, expect him to have one of this in one way or another. In particular, his ''"Grand Hazard"'' is notorious for it's extreme amount of single target damage, and Lugina is the most common buffer of Ignore Defense, which, while a TierInducedScrappy buff for the players, is an '''extremely''' dangerous buff for the enemy side due to the players' reliance on the buff.

*** And then Zazabis' 6-Stars form came along, and Summoners now regret selling/fusing its previous forms away because its SBB is now a ''27 Hit Count'' AreaOfEffect attack and even provides a '''70% boost to Spark Damage.'''
** And among the ones normally obtained in-game, healing units are basically the inversion. Finkell and Legnaura are special mentions for being easier-to-obtain (though obviously inferior) versions of Gaia Tree Vertri and Immortal Phoenix Levarza, respectively.
** Raydn is often seen as Alyut's and Sodis' side-grade with the Ignore Defense buff for mono-Water squads.

*** Convinced?
** CRIT Damage based units are becoming this. The majority of late game content have several quirks that turns it useless with CRIT Damage only increasing an enemy's Immunity, but the hate for them mostly comes into play in Raid Battles where rare materials can only drop by destroying the boss' other parts first which tends to have anti-CRIT Damage measures compared to the boss' main body. As a result Raid Battles farmers dread seeing units with Leader Skills that increases CRIT Damage such as Griff, Avant, Nyami, Zedus, or Reis show up since they can and will usually one turn kill the boss, without killing their extra body parts for their valuable item drops before they do so.
*** By no means are Crit units dead, however. Crit, along with EWD, is one of the most important damage dealing tools in Guild Raid and Frontier Hunter.
** Fadahl is often seen as, by far, the worst 7-Stars unit in the game due to his pretty lackluster kit as a Status Ailment inflictor. It comes to the point where he's the first from his batch to be ''permanently removed'' from any Popular Units Rate-Up Polls.

** Galene would normally be one's standard heavy nuke unit. She's one of the few guaranteed an infinite stream of Super Brave Bursts, as her SBB refills the gauge upon use and gives Stealth, but that on its own isn't ''that'' special. What is it that makes her so powerful, then? Her Sphere, the Excelsior Chip. [[TemporaryOnlineContent Assuming you took the time to craft its highest form, the Excelsior Chip MK-3, whenever the Glitch in the Heart dungeon reran]], this Sphere boosts Galene's ATK by an absolutely ''insane'' 150%. While this may make one think that the Sphere itself is the broken one, Galene's Extra Skill is activated by this Sphere, so not just anybody can use it effectively. The Sphere doubles her Spark damage output, her Extra Skill gives her the ability to perform Spark Criticals and doubles her ATK ''again'', and she Sparks ''with herself.'' Meaning? With the right secondary sphere, such as the common Occult Treasure or the Blighted Seal, she can cleave massive chunks of health off of even the heftiest of foes. She can even crack open Flamebound and Fireblight Revenants like nuts, or at least severely wound them, something that normally requires 4 people to do! She has a Dual Brave Burst with Vektor, and their Quagmire synergy pairs nicely with her Stealth and surprising tankiness, which is why you'll see so many of these face-meltingly powerful robots when raiding Raid Class 7 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or against the Specter.

At higher bond levels, this effectively means you can fire off at least one Dual Brave Burst for free, or MORE than free, allowing another unit to unleash their DBB immediately after!
