And as an adult in the future, tries to murder ''Ben's SON'', and there are other deeds too. Though his new characterization in the ContestedSequel series will give fans a [[{{Understatement}} bad case]] of YourMileageMayVary.

** Also, only 4 out of 10 are used, Grandpa Max is given an accent (his beard and Lee Majors' performance are fine though), Eon looks like a dude in a motorcycle helmet ([[LargeHam the actor is amazing though]]), [[SpecialEffectsFailure really cheap SFX]], a supposedly touching moment spoiled by Gwen's misuse of expressions, ... let's just say leave the live-action thing to the professionals, mmmkay?

** This actually created a PeripheryDemographic all by itself. Older fans initially hated the show, partially because of the flat, immature, two dimensional characters. [[IncestYay The instant they decided Ben and Gwen had crushes on each other]], the characters gained two or three levels of depth, skyrocketing it to the top of a lot of teen's lists. Any thread about it posted on a message board would either start out as a [[{{Shipping}} BenxGwen]] thread, or turn into one in short order.

* AndTheFandomRejoiced: Oh, they're making a fourth Ben 10 series already? it's just gonna be another crappy sequel like AlienForce and UltimateAlien, and - Wait, [[TeenTitans DERRICK]] [[TransformersAnimated WYATT]] is going to be the character designer?! And it's going to be a continuity reboot! WOOHOO!
