* DesignatedVillain: Nanette seems to be this. There's very little to support her being a bully or a ManipulativeBitch. That's not to say she's not obnoxious, but the idea that what she does makes her deserving of Angela's frequent brutal [[ImagineSpot fantasies]] makes you wonder about the latter's mental state.
** Mrs. Brinks. The show treats her like a SadistTeacher for constantly disciplining Angela, but Angela isn't exactly a model student and she's only doing her job as an educator.

* MorePopularSpinoff: This show was more popular than WesternAnimation/KaBlam.

* SociopathicHero: Angela can come off as this, as her {{ImagineSpot}}s all involve killing Nanette Manoir in the most brutal way possible (even via ''cannibalism'' once!). Nanette herself, while obnoxiously conceited, hardly does anything even close to warranting such hostility.

* HeroicSociopath: Angela can come off as this, as her ImaginationSpots all involve killing Nanette Manoir, whose actions are not heinous enough to warrant even a single blow.
* IneffectualSympatheticVillain: Nanette comes off as this to several fans (and TheMysteriousMrEnter). Compared to Angela, Nanette's actions are tame, while Angela has ImaginationSpots relating to Nanette's death in the most brutal way possible (even cannibalism!).

* UncannyValley: Oftentimes it looks a bit weird because of the ClipArtAnimation.

* MorePopularSpinoff: This show was more popular than [[WesternAnimation/KaBlam]].

* PetTheDog: Actually, plenty:
** The Chanukah moment where Nanette takes the Menorah after all sorts of different antics to get it back, and tells everyone else to just bug off. But then she and her family return it to Gina and ''her'' family.
** Mrs. Brinks in the Jiggly Fruit episodes, as well as the times she admits she made a mistake and apologizes to Angela. (The school store episode) She also negotiates a trade with Angela a couple times, letting Angela get out of trouble.
** Karlean gets some in the episode Kar-lean on me, being the most developed out of Nanette's GirlPosse.

* AcceptableReligiousTargets: Josephine, a devout Christian. She is portrayed sympathetically, though.

* UncannyValley: Because the faces are all one model stretched out...some characters look ''weird''. However this is pretty subjective; it's really just part of the artstyle (and rather fascinating how they did it.)

* TheWoobie: Josephine can go into this.

* JustOneMoreLevel: Jimmy Jamal, the mayor's son, is never seen without his handheld game. In fact, it seems to [[WhatDoYouMeanItsNotAwesome control his sneakers]] [[BeyondTheImpossible and give him the power to move his feet as quickly as his thumbs]].

* VillainSue: Nanette Manoir.
