** Emmitt Little is another particularly popular one-time character, partly for the novelty of his being a former prisoner who wasn't a one of the 63's and partly for being a Handicapped Badass who defends the WrongfullyAccused Clarence Montgomery.

After escaping Alcatraz, he starts to plant more mines around San Francisco (including in elementary school yards) to kill as many random civilians as possible. He [[LandMineGoesClick traps Agent Hauser on one of these mines]], but modifies the bomb in such a way that the bomb disposal expert who rescues Hauser would inevitably be killed during the dismantling procedure no matter what they did.

** [[WouldHurtAChild Kit Nelson]] is a savage SerialKiller who is [[EvenEvilHasStandards despised by all the other hardened inmates in Alcatraz]]. He murdered his younger brother when they were both kids by strangling him to death. Then he placed a flower on his brother's bed, [[ThemeSerialKiller adopting this method]] for all his subsequent murders. He breaks into young boys' bedrooms at night to abduct them at knifepoint, threatening to kill their families if they don't comply. He forces them to take part in his late brother's favorite hobbies for a few days, before strangling them to death with murderous glee. Afterwards he drops off the boys' bodies back in the place he abducted them from.

He murdered his brother when he was an 11-year old boy by strangling him to death. He would later use his brother's death as a motif for all his subsequent murders. His pattern consisted of breaking into a young boy's bedroom at night and abducting the kid at knifepoint by threatening to kill his siblings or parents if he didn't comply, leaving a flower behind in his place. Then he would force them to take part in his late brother's favorite hobbies for a few days, and strangle them to death in a bomb shelter with murderous glee. He drops off the boys' bodies back where he abducted them, their bedrooms.

* FridgeLogic: If the 63s are all appearing on Alcatraz Island, why doesn't the main cast just set up a few cameras to monitor the outgoing ferry? A few people in the loop watching screens all day could probably stop many incoming 63s cold.
** Are ALL of them reappearing on the island, or just Sylvane?
** They could simply audit the ferry incoming/outgoing count, too. No need for cameras, just a clicker.
* FridgeLogic: How are the 63s able to get around San Francisco after 49 years? They lived on an isolated island and didn't get around the city, locations change, people move, there are currently no phone booths, phone books. Did they learn how to use GPS technology or the Internet while they were in limbo?
** Due to the fact that the force that made them jump forward in time in the first place is currently unknown, it's entirely possible that whoever or whatever did it ''gave'' them the knowledge to adapt to the modern world.
** Streets haven't changed all that much in the city core. Heck, they even still run some of the cable cars. SF was well established in the 1960s, and like most old cities, many things stay the same. All they need is a map. It's a reach to say you need a GPS to get around a city. People have traveled to worldwide cities for decades without need for 3-meter positional accuracy. And a most-wanted criminal is going to need to get used to getting around strange cities a lot.
