* TheDreaded: In his late 2016 solo run. A large majority of the RAW locker room is ''terrified'' of him. Even Mick Foley, who has basically SeenItAll, thinks he's a whole other level of scary.

* GenreSavvy: ''Holy shit'', he was this on the January 29, 2017 episode of ''Raw''. The Mountain of a Man was promised a WWE Universal Championship match against [[Wrestling/KevinSteen Kevin Owens]] [[spoiler:if he interfered to cost Wrestling/RomanReigns his shot at Owens' title the night before at the ''Wrestling/RoyalRumble'']]. But when he came out to cash in on that promise, Owens denied the conversation even happened—so Strowman recovered the tape and played it over in the arena, causing General Manager Wrestling/MickFoley to come out and make the title match. Then Owens had his best friend Wrestling/ChrisJericho sitting commentary at the announce table to the side near the stage before the match—and Strowman, knowing Jericho would get involved, made a bee-line for Jericho and chokeslammed him through the table. Owens was scared shitless, and, aside from a small period of control Owens had caused by a ring post bump, Strowman would absolutely dominate the match. Even when [[spoiler:Roman Reigns' music hit and Reigns came after Strowman for revenge, Braun was expecting it and told him to get in the ring and bring it on. The only thing he didn't count on how much Reigns had left in the tank after taking Strowman's beating and working two matches[[note]]the Universal Title match with Owens and the Royal Rumble Match[[/note]] the previous night, resulting in Reigns taking down both him and Owens. And even then, he technically still won the match since Reigns attacked him first, meaning he still holds rightful claim to a future world title shot]].

** Doles these out on a regular basis, but the April 10th, 2017 RAW stands out; Strowman assaulted Roman during his interview with Michael Cole, threw him ''bodily'' through a table, repeatedly threw him against steel roller-shutters, powerslammed him onto steel pallets, drove a metal crate into Reigns' face and chest, threw him off a loading dock ('''after''' Roman had been strapped to a gurney), and, to top it all off, '''''deadlifted a goddamn ambulance onto its side with Roman in it!''''' The next week, he tore through the RAW locker room looking for a match...then found one in Wrestling/TheBigShow. Cue the third "Superplex to Big Show Imploding the Ring" spot, after Wrestling/BrockLesnar's from 2003 and Wrestling/MarkHenry's from 2011. Except unlike the other two, ''Strowman got back up from it''.

* TheBrute: In Wrestling/TheWyattFamily - which says something as basically all of its members up to that point had been very large and very physical.

* HarsherInHindsight: During an in-ring promo on the April 17, 2017, ''WWEMondayNightRaw'', Strowman -- to follow up on his actions a week earlier, where he tipped over with his bare hands an ambulance attempting to drive rival Wrestling/RomanReigns to the hospital after severely injuring him -- gloated over his actions and that after they meet again in the ring, “It will be Roman Reigns’s [[{{Kayfabe}} funeral]].” Just hours later, Reigns was indeed planning a funeral ... in real life, for his brother Matthew Anoaʻi (aka "Rosey, the Super Hero In Training").

* LightningBruiser: During his solo run on RAW that started in 2016, we've seen his smaller, seemingly quicker opponents try to flee from the ring, only for Braun to not only keep pace, but ''overrun'' them. Cole and company were amazed a man his size and girth could even move that quickly, let alone outpace his smaller opposition... and then against bigger opposition like Wrestling/TheBigShow, he can grapple and do a freaking ''kip-up'', and not a rope-assisted one like Show himself use to do, but [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHycqkzM-z0 a middle-of-the-ring one]] ala Wrestling/ShawnMichaels or Shelton Benjamin (although to be fair, he was aided by the leverage of holding Big Show's arm). Cole and Graves said it best: Strowman isn't superhuman, he's ''supernatural.''

* MeaningfulName: Named "Braun," a homophone of "brawn," which is his most defining trait. Also, "Strowman" may very well be indicative of the fact that he's a "strong man" at 6'8", and close to the 400 lb. mark (plus the fact that he was a professional strongman prior to WWE).

* RedBaron: Michael Cole often refers to him as "The Mountain Among Men". Another nickname, which didn't quite take, came in the form of "The Abominable Strow-man," courtesy of Corey Graves.

* TookALevelInBadass: As a member of Wrestling/TheWyattFamily, he was just a larger-than-usual lackey for Bray. After splitting away from them, he became a terrifying force capable of smashing through a good portion of the roster with ease.

* MeaningfulName: Named Braun — homophone of ''brawn'', which perfectly describes him.
** "Strowman" may very well be indicative of the fact that he's a "strong man" at 6'8", and close to the 400 lb. mark.
* MightyGlacier: Early indications haven't uncovered a wealth of speed. But, hey, when you're a 6'8", 385 strongman that's built like a tank, there's really no need to rush. Anywhere.
