This is a bit of a goof on Creator/HannaBarbera's part - even by TheNineties, quarks had already been proven to exist. With just a bit more research, Secret could have instead pointed out the impossibility of Quark existing ''alone''.

* ArtisticLicenseBiology: Secret and Morocco use heat-sensor glasses to track down the Chameleon. The problem? Lizards are ''ectothermic'', so they don't have body heat.
* AssholeVictim: Hot Rodney endangered Morocco Mole to try and prevent Secret Squirrel from winning the race and incessantly gloated about how Secret's unwillingness to let Morocco die would make his victory a shoo-in. When Secret tricked him into putting on the dynamite belt after he won the race, he totally deserved it.
* TheBadGuyWins: Hot Rodney actually wins the race against Secret (see above), though Secret uses the dynamite belt Rodney put on Morocco to deny him the satisfaction.

** Reversing the situation, Secret and Morocco star in a dog biscuit ad featured in the ''2 Stupid Dogs'' episode "Let's Make a Right Price".

* CrazyPrepared: Secret, naturally. But in "Scirocco Mole," Morocco was shown to be as well, tossing a bomb at his evil twin. When Secret asks where he got it, Morocco responds, "I brought the whole box of them! See? [[TooDumbToLive I even lit them so they would be ready!]]" Cue the OhCrap face from Secret Squirrel.

** In "One-Ton," Morocco suggests that what the villain needs is "a mate." One GilliganCut later and Secret is dressed as a sexy female panda. However, it fails miserably, considering he gets beaten up offscreen by said villain pretty much immediately.

* DubNameChange: In the Brazilian-Portuguese dub, Secret was renamed "James" and his surname was translated.
* DumbassNoMore: Secret is less eccentric and more competent compared to his original version. All of the bungling has been relegated to Morocco Mole.

* DogsHateSquirrels: In "Catty Cornered", Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole have to secure a cat who's swallowed an explosive capsule. However, the efforts to keep it safe are constantly thwarted by a mean dog who keeps attacking the cat. Eventually Secret Squirrel is able to get rid of the pooch with a bone, thereby saving the cat. However, this was not without consequences. Morocco Mole suffers quite a few AmusingInjuries and when the professor reveals that the cat had actually not eaten the capsule at all, the mole [[RageBreakingPoint snaps]] and begins acting like an angry dog. He proceeds to chase Secret Squirrel and the professor up a telephone pole.

* VocalEvolution: When the series began, Creator/MelBlanc pretty much used his [[WesternAnimation/SylvesterTheCatAndTweetyBird Sylvester the Cat]] voice for Secret Squirrel, before eventually sounding more like WesternAnimation/BugsBunny or [[WesternAnimation/HeathcliffAndTheCatillacCats Heathcliff]], but still with a lisp. Occasionally, the voice would change ''in the middle of an episode.''
