This is very different from withholding trust from someone who has deliberately and intentionally betrayed you and doesn't acknowledge the hurt they caused or ever apologize for their actions.

Moving cut What An Idiot entry that lacked the proper formatting here.

* IdiotBall: Sisu being naïve about the Talon tribe is understandable; she needed a wakeup call to see that you can't just walk into town and shoot off your mouth about coveted Dragon Gem pieces. Even Raya got caught off-guard when seeing Noi crying and stopped in her quest to comfort her. Not-so-understandable is that Raya warns her they need to approach the Spine tribe with caution; after Sisu had just a conversation about [[spoiler:the new Talon chief]] betraying her, she happily goes to the Spine chief hut and knocks on the front door before Raya can stop her. They were lucky that [[spoiler:Tong was actually not the chief, just a little paranoid and traumatized, and he agrees to go with them on their quest]].

Rewording to remove any "forced to watch" connotation, also her father tells Raya to not give up hope but never mentions anything about finding the last dragon.

* ShooTheDog: Benja is injured in the DownerBeginning, and his daughter is insisting they're escaping from the Druun together. He gives her a motivational speech, telling her she can find the last Dragon, and tosses her over the bridge into the water so that she avoids getting turned into stone. Raya screams in protest as she's forced to watch his petrification.

mis-use. the various "echo" tropes deal with something being said that is repeated later. The example listed is purely visual and not an echo trope. I'm not sure what trope would handle this situation.

When the group finds out about Sisu they are understandably upset with Raya at first but quickly work though it when the realize they have a dragon on their side who is working to bring everyone back.

Rewatched scene on bridge where Benja throws Raya into the water. There are a lot of Heart citizens running by them. Raya is not the only surviving Heart tribe member.

mis-use: The trope is about a death that immediately follows an escape from imminent peril, interrupting the peaceful tranquility of apparent success. The exchange between Namaari, Sisu and Raya was full of Mexican standoff tension. There was never a moment where you felt 100% certain that the danger had past and all was safe then... BAM Sisu is shot. While Namaari seemed to be responding positively to Sisu's words, at the same time her finger was tightening on the trigger to the point where you can hear the trigger device creaking.
