It was co-created by David Cantolla, who also co-created ''WesternAnimation/{{Pocoyo}}'', and produced by Vodka and 737SHAKER CAPITAL, two Spanish companies based in Madrid and Segovia. It is, however, made for an English speaking audience. In the UK, it airs on Creator/CartoonNetwork's pre-K block Creator/{{Cartoonito}}, and in Canada, it aired on [=TVOKids=]. Even more so, it ''also'' was created in conjunction with various other studios, including Bandai (yes, ''[[Creator/BandaiNamcoEntertainment THAT Bandai]]'').

* OcularGushers: This happens ''every time'' someone in this series cries. However, this has not been done with Mina, Ongo, or the Queen.

* AnAesop:
** "Cheating Bracelets": Cheating is bad, and playing honestly is more fun.
** "Jammbo's Many Worlds" has a double aesop: "Try new things" and "Sometimes it's good to slow down and appreciate the little things in life".
** "Princess Smile": Brush your teeth.

* WidgetSeries: This is a weird Spanish thing. Considering that everything is powered by music and if the music ever stops, everything just freezes… ''Yeah''.

* CloningBlues: In "King's Clones" the King creates clones of himself to do his chores for him, but all of them are just as lazy as he is, so the clones create clones of themselves to do the chores. Then those clones clone themselves, and then those clones clone themselves, and so on.

* OffModel: Some of the most common animation errors are characters' arms clipping through their heads, or characters having lip-sync without dialogue.

* CuffsOffRubWrists: Ongo does this in "Cheating Bracelets" when his bracelet falls off.

* HypocriticalHumor: In two episodes, Bello freaks out at the possibility of aliens on Jammbo, while forgetting or not knowing that ''he'' is an alien himself.

* HumanAliens: Aside from their [[AmazingTechnicolorPopulation bright skin colors]], the residents of Planet Jammbo all look a lot like humans.

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: [[ButtMonkey Mina]] is sometimes the victim of physical comedy.

* RealityWarper: In "Sound Sheriff", Bello is named guard over the gift hall in the castle and receives a special star-shaped badge that forces whatever order he gives onto the person or thing being spoken to (for example, he tells some flowers to sing quieter and the badge makes their voices softer). [[spoiler:When Bello tries to get the others to stop playing music to snap him out of his constant orders, he asks them to forget about music... [[BeCarefulWhatYouWishFor and his badge warps them to fit his command]], which causes all of Bello's friends to become dull and unplayful.]]

* FriendToAllLivingThings: The Dodos can't enough of Ongo; they'll even let him ride on their backs!

* CriticalResearchFailure: InUniverse example: In "Color of Fun", Rita claims that she and Goomo have red skin and Ongo has blue skin, when taking one look at them shows that they are pink, magenta, and purple, respectively.

** There are many shout-outs to other video game series too, including ''VideoGame/PacMan'', ''Franchise/SuperMarioBros'', ''VideoGame/MonumentValley'', and even ''Franchise/StreetFighter''.

* AliensSpeakingEnglish: Jammbo's residents have a very good grasp on the English languages despite living on a different planet than Earth. There are even moments where the kids are ''[[UpToEleven writing]]'' English.

* CryCute: ''Everyone'' in this show has [[OcularGushers their]] [[TearsOfJoy moments]].

* BlindingBangs: Ongo's hair covers most of his face. It's never shown what's underneath, outside of two brief moments in "A Day At The Races" and "Queen's Birthday" where his eyes can be seen through binoculars.

* PuppyDogEyes: In "Royal Frame", all the kids (even [[BlindingBangs Ongo]]) use this on the king to convince him to make a drawing to put in the frame.
