* MistakenForRacist: When an aide tries to warn the Brigadier that Freddy, who is from France "is a frog", the Brigadier assumes that the aide is making an racist slur and tells the lad off. He's rather stunned when he sees that [=FRO7=] is an ''actual'' frog.

* PretendingToBeBrainwashed: El Supremo's mind control doesn't work on Daffers for reasons that are never explained. But she successfully pretends it did by repeatedly intoning "the Snake shall rule the world" in a monotone voice.
