** [=SwaySway=]'s reaction in "Brocrastination" when he loses to Buhdeuce at an arcade game for dish-cleaning duty.

* CatchPhrase: The show has several of these, in a fashion not unlike ''WesternAnimation/CourageTheCowardlyDog'' where characters repeat their catchphrases with just about the same inflection every time. Ketta even lampshades this in "Oonski the Grateful", saying that the Breadwinners should be doing a job that doesn't involve "flying around shouting catchphrases all day". To go through the most common ones:

* AffectionateParody: "Bye Bye Booty" is probably one of the kids' book and TV Show "The Day My Butt Went Psycho" which features a character named Deuce.
* AgonyOfTheFeet: In "Quazy for Vanessa" the duo accidentally drive over Oonski's foot, then we get a shot of his boot ripped open and his foot turned purple.

** Every mole portrayed in Breadwinners are bullies and hate the Bread Maker. They even hang out with the monsters.
* AlwaysSomeoneBetter: The Bread Maker is known as the greatest fighter in Pondgea. However his brother Santa Crust is more skilled of a fighter than he is. Subverted because the Bread Maker humbly admits his brother is a better fighter before anyone knows it.

* BewareTheSillyOnes: In "Poltergoose" the title character is annoying at worst but is generally friendly. But after [=SwaySway=], Ketta, and Buhdeuce hurt his feelings, he tries to kill Ketta and came really close to ending her life.

* BigEater: Buhdeuce. He loves eating so much that when [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce switched bodies one episode, not only did Sway gain Buhdeuce's never-ending appetite, but it's apparently so strong that it was developing into a form of HorrorHunger due to Sway being unable to control it.

* TheChewToy: T-Midi usually has to endure being beaten up (not on purpose) by the Breadwinners antics. Sometimes he brings it upon himself, however.
** In "Bye Bye Booty" Buhdeuce booty kicks an innocent bunny for no reason.

* DanceSensation: When Buhdeuce goes WildChild inside a cruise ship and starts thrashing a buffet, [=SwaySway=] covers for him by claiming that he's performing the latest dance craze. Soon, everyone in the ship starts doing it, much to the captain's consternation.

* DistaffCounterpart: The Pizzawinners, Zoona and Roni, are this to the Breadwinners.

* EasilyForgiven: The Breadwinners are forgiven for bringing a bread craving zombie apocalypse. However the Bread Maker does punish them by banning them from baking bread.

* FacialHorror: In "Quazy for Vanessa" when [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce are flying away from Oonski, Buhdeuce's face gets grinded against several buildings, leaving the left side of his skull exposed.

* FanDisservice: In "Shrunken Ducks" there's a lot of focus on Rambamboo's big butt, but she also has hairy legs and there's some close-ups on her scaly skin.

* FatAndSkinny: Combined with BigGuyLittleGuy since Buhdeuce's small-yet-round size is due to him being younger than the pencil-thin [=SwaySway=], but he's still depicted as the strongest of the two. Routine-wise, [[RuleOfFunny the two switch roles often.]] In general, Buhdeuce will display moments of stupidity more often than Sway, who will usually try to correct and/or save Buhdeuce if the little guy's being particularly dumb. However, Sway's not immune to dumb moments himself and will sometimes hatch an unnecessarily "quazy" plan to solve something that could be resolved in a more simple and reasonable manner. Whenever [=SwaySway=]'s gone crazy, Buhdeuce will almost always become more intelligent and act as a StraightMan that lampshades everything regarding Sway's plans while reluctantly going along with his buddy.

* FurryConfusion: [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce are anthropomorphic ducks who look more humanoid nd think and talk while the rest of the ducks are photo realistic and only quack. Some of them don't even wear clothes.

* GoodParents: [=SwaySway's=] mom and dad are affectionate towards their son, they teach him about responsibility, they believe in him despite his flaws, and they encouraged him to find a best friend, leading him to meet Buhdeuce.

** At the end of "Stank Breath" the duo have cured Buhdeuce's breath only for him to eat another bread that gives him horrible gas, which proceeds to form into a fist and punch [=SwaySway=].

** At the end of "Fowl Feud" after getting mad at each and work by themselves for destroying their property, they're reunited after getting new add-ons from Ketta, their "party punches" destroy the add-ons, causing the two to get mad at each other again.

* ItCameFromTheFridge: In "Brocrastination" the guys haven't cleaned the dishes in one, two years tops, so long that the bacteria growing on them form a giant BlobMonster.

** T-Midi who acts like a royal upper-class twit and more than willingly acts rude toward Sway-Sway and Buhduce.

* LyricalDissonance: In "Crumbskull" when [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce destroy the meteor headed toward Pondgea in the process destroying the weapon they were riding, they sing an upbeat yet despairful song about them falling to their deaths.

* MickeyMousing: The action in many scenes are synchronized to the beat of the background score.

* NewPowersAsThePlotDemands: Buhdeuce and [=SwaySway=] both have the ability to "Level Up" which usually means they get new outfits/powers for whatever they need to do. Played with in that half the time the 'powers' either fail to solve their problem or only serve to make the situation worse.
* NiceJobFixingItVillain: If Steven Quackberg didn't get Rambamboo to help him get his film back, she wouldn't have found out [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce didn't have the right signatures and cancelled the movie.

* PalsWithJesus: The titular Breadwinners are friends with a 6,000-7,000 year old man who creates all the bread they eat. The Breadmaker is also affectionate and protective towards them, calling them "his young ducklings".
* PhlebotinumInducedStupidity: In "Crumbskull" [=SwaySway=] and Buhdeuce accidentally give Ketta a type of bread that causes this.

** A more comedic example in "Birthday Bread" when Buhdeuce eats the entire loaf of the eponymous bread and becomes an old man. [=SwaySway=] takes him to the [[FountainOfYouth Fountain of Yeast]] to regain his youth, but he stays in too long and becomes a baby, meaning [=SwaySway=] [[HereWeGoAgain now has to get him another loaf of Birthday Bread]].

* RageBreakingPoint: In "Kettastrophe", what finally causes [=SwaySway=] to get fed up with Ketta upgrading everything in the Swamp Pad is hearing that she deleted the high scores on his arcade game, which took ten years for him to build. He proceeds to [[HulkingOut hulk out]] and destroy the cabinet in a rage.

* TorsoWithAView: Happens to Buhdeuce in "Wolf Head Bread" when T-Midi's loaf of Laser Eye Rye shoots a laser through him.

** It's harder to tell with Buhdeuce, he has a job, but in "Chest Hair Club" he is not allowed to see an adult rated movie, he also has baby teeth in "Tooth Fairy Ducks"
** Jenny Quackles is seen riding a rocking duck in "Pondgea's Got Talent" and has a baby tooth in "Tooth Fairy Ducks", however she is old enough to be married in "Unlucky Duckies".

** Buhdeuce and [=SwaySway=] "level up" into girl disguises in order to sneak into an all-girl's summer camp.
** In "Wrath of the Pizza Lord", they dress as the Pizzawinners to help them do their jobs.

* WrenchWench: Ketta, the Breadwinners' mechanic and GadgeteerGenius.

* YourHeadAsplode: A RunningGag that usually happens to Buhdeuce, signifying his "mind being blown", complete with pixelated explosions. He always regains his head afterwards.

* ManHug: SwaySway and Buhdeuce often hug, which they call "Duck Hugs".

* VitriolicBestBuds: Depending on the episode, SwaySway and Buhdeuce sometimes argue a lot, but they deeply care for each other.

* AmbiguousDisorder: [=SwaySway=] is very mentally unstable. When things go wrong his eyes become wild and twitch and he laughs maniacally.

* BareYourMidriff: [=SwaySway=]'s belly is almost always exposed.

* SlapstickKnowsNoGender: The show doesn’t shy away from having the female characters beaten up a little, especially Rambamboo.

* AsskickingEqualsAuthority: Buhdeuce becomes the leader of the biker duck gang by defeating their previous leader.

It was originally shown as a Website/YouTube short before [[http://www.nick-asia.com/shows/breadwinners/videos/digital-original-short-breadwinners-riduckulous-driving/q9l8pg Nickelodeon remade it]] as part of its inaugural [[WesternAnimation/NickelodeonAnimatedShortsProgram Animated Shorts Program]], then picked it up for a 20-episode first season premiering on February 22, 2014. The show continued to air for over a year, after which it was pulled from the main network. ''Breadwinners'' [[ChannelHop moved]] to Creator/{{Nicktoons}} for its last eleven episodes, which finished airing on August 22, 2016.
