* AntiVillain: Despite being blood-sucking vampires, Alucard and his son aren't all that malicious by default. In fact, the only reasons why Alucard even antagonizes Dean is because he thought he was a pedophile chasing after his son and that he was the one fucking his cows. Within the series itself, it also seems that Alucard sticks to drinking the blood of his cows rather than target humans.

* LaterInstallmentWeirdness: Episode 6 is the last episode [=TheWINChestersInc=] created before they quietly abandoned the series, and there's already plenty of oddities compared to previous episodes. In particular, previous episodes implied that the show still more or less happens in a BroadStrokes parody version of the original series, as Dean and Sam reference the events of live-action episodes. Here, they suddenly softly confirm it might be an AlternateUniverse due to Sam [[spoiler:never hooking up with Jessica]] and Castiel not being known to Sam beforehand. There's also several more {{Continuity Nod}}s towards their own episodes rather than the live action show's, with hints of leading into a more straightforward MythArc with Mary Winchester implying that some shit is heading the brothers' way.

* LeftHanging: Episode 6 ended with heavy implications that a serious storyline would be around the corner, but the series was quietly abandoned before this could happen.

* PlotIrrelevantVillain: The homophobic Impala that runs over gay people in Episode 3 doesn't actually factor in much; the episode is primarily about Sam and Dean's run-in with the local police and Dean having to deal with getting hit on by a gay guy. And by the time they find out about the MonsterOfTheWeek (at the end of the episode, no less), the problem is already resolved by Michael's dad [[spoiler:killing his own son, the last gay person in town.]]

* ProductionThrowback: References to Omnibeneficial's ''Manga/{{Bleach}} Abridged'' are around.

** Episode four's opening is a huge shout-out to ''Manga/DeathNote''. Mainly because ''Supernatural The Animation'' was produced by the [[Creator/MadhouseProductions same studio]].

Added DiffLines:

* WhamEpisode: Episode 6 heavily implies that the show is beginning to take doing its own storylines more seriously, as the boys meet the ghost of their mother and she implies that an Abridged version of the live action series' MythArc might be looming around the corner. Unfortunately, Episode 6 also happens to be the last episode produced.

Added DiffLines:

* PoliceAreUseless: The cops in Episode 3 zig zag this. On the one hand, they let Dean keep his blowtorch which he uses to escape jail, something that a guard on watch duty fails to notice, and Kevin aka "Happy Hitler" ends up simply allowing Michael to grab the cell keys off of him. On the other hand, they ''do'' do their jobs, arresting Dean and Sam for crimes based on genuine evidence they have, and even save the day (albeit in a batshit way).
