** He eventually gets so fed up with the misinformation in a video by a climate change denier he was doing that he starts smoking weed to cope with the stress.
** In his video on ''Advertising/{{Cryptoland}} he eventually starts smoking weed to get through it after [[ItMakesSenseInContext Connie dresses up like a Seagull to get some woman’s Crypto wallet back]].

* TakeThat: In “White People are Aliens”, during the skit where he [[ItMakesSenseInContext plays the alien leader]], there are a few not-so-subtle jabs at Creator/DonaldTrump.

* TakeThat: Quite a lot given the nature of the show.
** In his episode on 0u75p0k3n, when 0u75p0k3n mentions watching CNN [[ItMakesSenseInContext to get rid of an erection]], Weasel cringes hard and agrees that that would do it.
** Anytime something vaguely related to alien conspiracy theories pops up he almost always uses the oppurtunity to take a jab at ''Series/AncientAliens'

** When Juciel asks why people like anime but dislike ''VideoGame/DukeNukemForever'', Weasel (who is openly salty about buying the [[LimitedSpecialCollectorsUltimateEdition Balls of Steel Edition]] of the game) immediately flashes an ''extremely'' LongList for why the game sucks and anime is better.
** In his video on ''Advertising/{{Cryptoland}}'' he insults Christopher’s lack of muscles by saying he’s seen more meat on KFC.

* DidNotThinkThisThrough: Weasel realizes halfway through his first TalkLikeAPirate Day video that he probably shouldn’t researched the lingo pirates used before doing the episode. He also fails to test his costume before doing the video, resulting in some completely non-sexual but nevertheless amusing WardrobeMalfunction.

Critical Research Failure is a disambiguation page

* CriticalResearchFailure: InUniverse. An embarrassingly blatant one when Weasel revisits Caiden Cowger, who uses a news article from the ''[[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sun_(United_Kingdom) Sun]]'' (a notoriously bad UK tabloid news source) to reinforce his claims that liberals are turning kids gay. Weasel has to get his information on the story from various other sources when he finds that all but the intro to the original ''Sun'' article is behind a subscription paywall, and he eventually notices that not only did Caiden only read from the intro, but when he holds up a printed version of the story, it's the same pre-paywall intro that Weasel found, proving that ''he'' didn't actually read the article, either.
** Another blatant one is Weasel pointing out that The Vigilant Christian placed [[Film/ManOfSteel Superman]] as a [[Creator/MarvelComics Marvel]] character, despite the fact that Superman is under [[Creator/DCComics DC]]. Weasel continues to points out the lack of research as The Vigilant Christian brings up [[Film/{{Thor}} Thor]] (adding in the fact that Thor was an actual Norse god), [[Film/CaptainAmericaTheFirstAvenger Captain America]], and [[Film/TheDarkKnight Batman]] (also DC) as examples of "Marvel espouses worship of Satan and TheAntiChrist".
