* BoobsOfSteel: General Frida Mofette by a long shot. Her gender is obvious from a ''top'' view, and she's a BloodKnight bordering on AxCrazy when you put her in a mech. Heck she considers a war a vacation.

* CerebusSyndrome: The show starts off as very fun and colourful, and even the tragic BreakTheCutie moment in episode 19 is created by somewhat silly circumstances (namely [[spoiler:Sadlygrove insulting Armand's halitosis, and Armand [[WhipItGood spanking him repeatedly]] with a vine whip]]). But once you hit episode 24, Ankama takes all of your silly expectations of an innocent Saturday-morning kid's cartoon and utterly shatters them by delivering the darkest, most tense, and most heart-breaking season finale French animation has ever seen.

* AlluringAnglerfish: We follow such a fish at the beginning of season 1 episode 16. After eating a smaller fish attracted by the light of its lure, it ventures in the sunken ship of the heroes... [[AlwaysABiggerFish and gets fried by a Noxine]].

* ABoyAGirlAndABabyFamily: The Percedal family, from the episode ''Oropo'' in season 3 on.

** In Season 3, Oropo's plan is to inflict a ApocalypseHow/ClassX4 on the AlternateDimension where the gods reside by [[spoiler:combining the Eliacube and six Eliatrope Dofus to form a [[DoomsdayDevice dimension-destroying bomb]]]]. It's also strongly suggested he'd inflict some kind of Apocalypse How on the World of Twelve to cut off the population's prayers will feed the gods' powers.

* AnguishedOutburst: Nox commits one atrocity after another and stealing his victims' [[LifeForce Wakfu]] so that he could use it to time-travel to the point where he can save his family from their deaths, in addition to justifying his intent by stating that everything he's done will be reversed. He manages to succeed... only to realize he can only travel back by 20 minutes, rendering his entire goal meaningless. He begins to cry over this predicament alongside screaming in rage about the futility of his actions and then the next thing he does is to [[DrivenToSuicide take his own life]] in front of his family's grave.

* BeeAfraid: In episode 21 of season 2, Elaine steps onto a hive of wasps. The typical running and jumping into a nearby pond ensues for the girls.

** Centuries before the start of the series, [[GreaterScopeVillain Ogrest]] caused a ApocalypseHow/Class4 in the form of TheGreatFlood which reshaped the entire planet's topography from a large continent into scattered islands. [[spoiler:And he's still slowly causing sea levels to rise into the present day, until the heroes confront him in the [=OVAs=]]].

*** Whilst near the season's end, Rushu and his Shushu army successfully invade the World of Twelve. They're purely {{Omnicidal Maniac}}s by nature and motive, who have already [[ApocalypseHow/Class6 destroyed just about everything there is for them to destroy in their home dimension]].

* CurbStompBattle: Grougaloragran vs Nox. Keep in mind, Nox is mostly fighting a ''dragon in human form'', and he is '''STILL''' having a hard time matching up. By the time Grougaloragran gets serious, Nox has been beaten down '''''THREE TIMES'''''. Even then, Nox realizes that he is bound for a ton of hurt.
