[[WMG: Ash and Pikachu have had something similar to the Bond Phenomenon since the very beginning.]]
But, unlike with Ash-Greninja, there's not any sort of visible change or effect - It only affects Pikachu's strength. While Pikachu's always a stronger than average, there's been times when he hasn't been able to get Team Rocket to blast off, only to be able to once again when Ash shows up. At other times, his strength takes a sudden nosedive when he and Ash are caught off-balance or get out of sync. When he and Ash work together perfectly, though, they can accomplish incredible feats, which has been seen time and time again.

According to the "Birth of Mewtwo" CD Drama, Jessie's mom Miyamoto was good friends with Madame Boss, Giovanni's mother and Team Rocket's original leader Madame Boss. ...with one of the earlier female protagonist, probably Misty (or maybe May). It's just never shown on-screen because relationships aren't the focus of Pokemon's main plot. By that logic, you could say that he got together with Misty at the end of Johto, and it just wasn't shown in those final scenes, giving them a long distance relationship (though any communication they've had is cut out because of being unnecessary to the plot) because Ash still wants to continue his journey as well, whilst Misty needs to look after the Cerulean Gym.

[[WMG: Brock got his Steelix back because it's no longer a Rock-type.]]
The Pewter Gym specializes in Rock-type, but Steelix looses its Rock typing after it evolves. As the result, it's barely used in battle and Forrest decided to return it back to Brock.

[[WMG: Brock or the Forrest, in the ''Sun and Moon'' era, has an Alolan Golem.]]
The regular Geodude that belonged to Brock evolved, and it's traded for an Alolan Graveler.

[[WMG: Misty and Tracey are seeing each other.]]
The two of them are the only ones of Ash's traveling companions that still live in close proximity to each other, and as both Pokémon Chronicles and ''The Dream Continues!'' shows, the two of them still frequently spend with each other. And eventually, their friendship blossomed into something more, helped by Misty's crush on Ash having faded [[AbsenceMakesTheHeartGoYonder after having spent so much time apart from him.]] Plus, since Ash & Serena is as canon a pairing as the Anime will probably ever portray, this provides Misty with a happy ending.

[[AC:Party Members]]
[[WMG: Ash and Serena are cousins]]
Some people there is managing the possibility of an engagement when Ash and Serena were kids, if that's true it's possible that they were engaged by their parents like it use to happen in Japanese and Asian societies, and if it happened when they were that young that probably means they're cousins. Think about it: There was Ranma and Akane or Syaoran and Meiling, both of them cousins.
* Ranma and Akane weren't cousins; their fathers were just friends.
** [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar In spite of what they've managed]], I don't think they'd get that past Nintendo America

[[WMG: Ash and Serena are siblings]]
After Ash's father and Delia divorced, he moved to Kalos and took Serena with him
* Given [[RomanceArc where the writers are going]]... [[IncestSubtext Ugh]]!

[[WMG: Serena will be the new Brock/Cilan]]
As we know she has a pokenav and is the apparently the navigator and she made cookies for Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie. So Serena might cook their every meals and be the navigator while Clemont takes on the "mentor" role without the cooking.
* She and Clemont seem to be splitting the cooking.

[[WMG: Clemont will be a "silent" Brock]]
Maybe from time to time, Clemont will pull up a picture of a beautiful girl on his device and look at it with a smile. But wants a girlfriend but doesn't want one yet. So Bonnie is helping him date!
* Unless it's at the end of some episodes (i.e. Clemont building a "Little Black Book"), it wouldn't be like Brock at all. Brock didn't have a singular equivalent of [[ComicStrip/{{Peanuts}} Charlie Brown's]] [[HeWhoMustNotBeSeen Little Red Haired Girl]]. What you seem to be describing seems more like the aforementioned [=LRHG=] than being influenced by the local [[InexplicablyIdenticalIndividuals Joy and Jenny]], and thus hitting on every one of their equals in the State.

[[WMG: Clemont will go into [[PapaWolf papa wolf]] mode when he senses danger or if any harm is being done to Bonnie]]
He already grabbed Bonnie in a scary situation. He might have times where he sees danger and grabs Bonnie and will hold her very close to his body or pick her up and carry her in his arms while he handles the situation. And becomes VERY protective of her knowing she will be hurt.

[[WMG: [[OlderThanTheyLook Clemont is really 15, he just looks 10-ish]]]]
Yes he has a deep voice (like he just hit puberty), [[PromotedToParent he takes care of his little sister]], he's fairly mature, and is so smart. So this hints he's in his mid-teens.
* I expect this as well, partly because they've always had an older boy in the group (not that "patterns" really mean anything on their own), and partly because having three ten-year-olds out of four would be way too homogenous. Also, this would bring further lulz to Bonnie's search for a wife for him.

[[WMG: Clemont is working his butt off at home]]
He had his duties as a gym leader and inventing, but the house needs cleaning, ([[[http://sunyshore.com/gym_lumiose_anime_XY009227.jpg especially his room]]), he has a child to raise and feed, Bonnie, his mother's not here, and his father's always working (electrician and super hero). Somebody has to cook, clean, and raise the family. Well Clemont is left with that.

[[WMG: [[YouMustBeCold Clemont gets cold easily]]]]
[[http://sunyshore.com/gym_lumiose_anime_XY007043.jpg The way Clemont sleeps is an obvious giveaway.]] Notice how he is wearing a nightcap and is almost fully covered? Not exactly he has to have his head out to breathe and part of his neck is showing revealing part of his pajamas. But in Pokemon, the only characters known to wear a nightcap to bed is Giovanni in Meowth's imagination (but the Boss fantasies have been killed after DP and no more nightcap was there after AG). James wore a nightcap in one episode along with his Victreebel, that was all but the nightcap wearing was killed off after AG. Here we are four generations later with Clemont wearing one to bed. The nightcap is to keep your head warmer and people wore them back when there was no heating or cooling systems. And Kalos must be cold, based off of France. And he's the only one wearing a nightcap, Ash wasn't wearing one, Bonnie was wearing a hood to bed, and Serena was wearing a bow. So he probably gets cold easily. There could be no other possible reason why Clemont has to wear a nightcap to bed.
* Perhaps because he ''prefers'' to wear a nightcap. Plus, in [=XY009=] Clemont was able to sit up in bed without feeling cold.

[[WMG: Clemont has a sleeper sofa]]
[[http://sunyshore.com/gym_lumiose_anime_XY009227.jpg It may seem like a couch and an air mattress.]] I think Clemont likes to treat his guests extra special, letting Ash sleep on the couch while he sleeps on an air mattress. I'm guessing that couch probably has a pull out bed, either they can't sleep in the same bed, it'd be inappropriate for a ten year old and a fourteen year old (how old Clemont might be) to be in the same bed especially since their just friends. So they need to be sleeping like that. And what bedroom doesn't have a bed? And [[http://sunyshore.com/gym_lumiose_anime_XY007043.jpg Clemont was sleeping in the Pokemon center bed just fine]], so that covers the "Clemont can't sleep in a bed" or "Clemont hates beds". That must be a sleeper sofa in the room or Clemont wouldn't be that sound asleep (looks like he can sleep through just about anything here) in the pokemon center bed, there must be a pull out bed.

[[WMG: Clemont put EVERYTHING on the robot in Episode 18]]
We know he put his jumpsuit in the robot thus revealing what is underneath (glad he has bloomers because a diaper would weird on him), but... don't his shoes look... different to you? [[http://sunyshore.com/gym_lumiose_anime_XY018%20(63).png take a look]] his shoes never looked like that! They're different than the ones he wore in the games and ever since episode 1. Then we get that awkward shot in episode 14 [[http://24.media.tumblr.com/94e1e5a98069e0c23c2d6e67cfb54ad6/tumblr_n23gx92w9d1rgjdg5o1_1280.jpg bare ankles?]] what's with that? I guess either Clemont had to do a task that required being barefooted (like washing his feet) and just had enough time to put shoes on or he has two pairs of socks and one is the no show type. [[http://37.media.tumblr.com/fecc5cc4fbdbfc850167aa413826447d/tumblr_n1be3wNi1N1rgjdg5o1_1280.jpg Then we get him actually wearing socks in episode 17]]! Geez did he put his shoe, socks, and jumpsuit on the robot?!

[[WMG: Bonnie will be somewhat more mature than Max]]
To avoid being TheScrappy, but still be childish enough to act her age and be a KidAppealCharacter. Also helps her goal is focused on her brother and not being a KnowNothingKnowItAll.
* She seems to be just about ''as'' mature, give or take. However, the aforementioned foucs plus her precosiousness give her two drawing cards that Max didn't have. Perhaps we're seeing the DoubleStandard in effect with the latter?

[[WMG: {{Running Gag}}s that will appear in the X/Y Anime]]
* Bonnie critiquing every female they encounter because she wants her brother to have a wife. Some of it will border on GettingCrapPastTheRadar.
** She doesn't check ''every'' female. As for the Radar... I'll need to check with Japan.
* Clemont creating new inventions that [[ChekhovsGun get used later in the episode]] and later getting destroyed. Also, he will gush over whatever new invention the Rocket Trio makes.
** Not quite gushing but he's sometimes impressed.

[[AC:Temporary Party Member Korrina]]
[[WMG: Korrina doesn't live with Gurkinn in the Tower of Mastery]]
Unlike the games, if you watched episode 30 two flashbacks implied it. One, when she was a little girl, just got her Riolu, she was shown running off with it with no adult supervision, unless if they were standing further away or Gurkinn was watching her from the window or something and when she left, notice Korrina doesn't have her backpack, she obviously went home to pack. So Korrina may only go there for training.

[[WMG: Korrina is depressed]]
Lucario is her only source of happiness and helps her get through life. Without it, she barely eats, doesn't sleep, and just passively watches life go by with a frown, those are symptoms and signs of depression. Korrina must have something bad going on in her life that makes her depressed and only relying on Lucario as an anti-depressant. And when she first got it (as a Riolu) look [[http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/a/aa/Korrina_Riolu.png she appeared to be almost underweight]] then the next flashbacks [[http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/5/53/Young_Korrina.png she looks the way she's supposed to]]. Only answer is, little Korrina gained some weight after she got her first Pokemon. Hmm... how did she start off sooo skinny then looked like this and now has the perfect body? Either Korrina was depressed even as a little kid and Riolu helped her depression or she was and was on anti-depressants causing her to loose weight. Don't know....

[[WMG: Gurkinn is really rich]]
The Tower of Mastery (well in the games) seems to be nothing more than a mansion (it has rooms with people living in it and are possibly his servants). Gurkinn probably payed millions of pokedollars just to maintain it. He probably hired servants to prepare his meals, clean the the Tower of Mastery to make it look nice, and to keep him "beautiful" (his hair and eyebrows are blond he might of got them dyed).

[[WMG: Gurkinn was an [[AbusiveParents abusive father]]]]
He's verbally and emotionally abusive to Korrina. It makes you imagine how he was like to Korrina's parent (and maybe her aunts and uncles) when they were children.
* Grandfather

[[WMG: Possible reasons why Korrina wore an oversized T-shirt when she was little]]
There is really no reason why [[http://cdn.bulbagarden.net/upload/5/53/Young_Korrina.png little Korrina should be wearing an oversized t-shirt.]] It's Emerald from Pokemon special all over again! Either it had to do with hiding/having to wear diapers. (like she was probably potty trained late or had bladder control issues until adolescence) or she was like Emerald didn't know her clothes size back then or it could be the same reason why she wears sunglasses now, just trying to fit in.

[[WMG: Korrina had impaired eyesight as a child]]
In most of the little Korrina flashbacks, [[EyesAlwaysShut most of them had her with her eyes closed]] only two flashbacks had her with her eyes opened while present day Korrina has her eyes open most of the time. So it's possible they either figured out why she had impaired eyesight or she is really wearing contacts.

[[AC:Other]]
[[WMG: What really happened in [=XY001=]:]]
Instead of making a call, Alexa took her long sweet time, then called her younger sister at the very last minute. Hint? Her red fingernails.
* The animation style changed you know which allowed nail animation

[[WMG: Other alternate universes]]
Since [=XY037=] canonized the idea of alternate universes for the anime, there might be others that we haven't seen yet. Including (feel free to add others):
* A universe where Ash actually won a league.
* The inevitable GenderFlip universe with Ashley instead of Ash.
* A universe where Ash and his traveling companions [[EvilCounterpart are all villains]], [[TheBadGuyWins have taken control of all the Legendaries, and successfully conquered their world]], not to mention that this version of Ash [[ArsonMurderAndJaywalking is smarter than Prime!Ash]]. There's also a [[LaResistance token resistance]] comprised of the remains of this universe's evil teams that's led by the Team Rocket trio.
* The games and manga would have their own universes as well.

** It will be seen in a glass bowl, and will jump out of it whenever it enters a battle and activates Schooling.

[[WMG: The wild Stoutland is Litten's father.]]
* Both are in the Field egg group, Stoutland can get Fire Fang upon evolving, and it normally takes Litten to level 15 to get Fire Fang. If Litten's mother knew the move, Litten would be born with the ability, but because of anime rules, has to practice to get it right. Stoutland knew his time was short, so he was insistent on Litten's being ready to face the world without him. That's also why he supported the idea of Litten's joining Ash; he could sense Ash would care well for Litten.

[[WMG: The series's Trial Captains will all be OCs. Alternatively, there will be no Trial Captains.]]
The Trial Captains from the games are schoolmates of Ash's and not TCs. Also, Totem Gumshoos challenged Ash directly in a different way from the games. Perhaps all the challenges will involve fixing a problem like this. Alternatively, Ash will aid his classmates in becoming TCs.

[[WMG:The regular anime Pokemon world will make a crossover with the Pokemon world depicted in the "I Choose You" movie in the SunAndMoon series]]
The "I Choose You" movie replaced Brock and Misty, the two human companions, with two other characters the same age and gender. In the Sun and Moon series, Hau and the Trial captains that are not classmates are nowhere to be seen (including the one that is actually associated to the Pokemon School in the games!).

[[WMG: Ash's Rockruff is going to DiscardAndDraw a move for Psychic Fangs, and that move will be Bite.]]
Olivia and Gladion both have Lycanroc as stars of their parties. though in the case of Olivia, her Lycanroc was changed from Midnight to Midday, whilst Gladion's is still Midnight, presumably to associate his appearance with the games. with a leak that he still has a Type: Null from a sticker set in Japan. it's likely that Ash's Rockruff will soon evolve, just that his would also gain an Ash!Greninja-esque SuperMode.

The ending in japan has various characters pulling poses with various Z Crystals. namely Lillie with Ice, James with Poison, Jessie with Normal. but Ash has Psychic, but none of his Pokemon has any psychic moves they could have utilized. logically they could have avoided showing Ash twice and avoided showing Fairy at all. since they shown only a limited number of types. but Ash with his mom's Mr Mime? it's obviously a placeholder until Rockruff evolves. they just can't reveal it now because it's part of a marketing push for Ultra Sun/Moon.

As to how it'll adapt the move. maybe with Litten's help, it can combine its own Tackle, with Litten's tutoring for a elementally-tuned Bite attack. this would push Rockruff into GeniusBruiser territory, especially once he learns how to cause his bites to become projectiles, finally mastering Psychic Fangs. some event in the anime will probably make his Rockruff evolve into a new form under legendary circumstances, that coincidentally has some local legend attached. these Rockruff would have a much more logical presence, including an invokable way to evolve as many as you want in Ultra Sun/Moon, maybe irradiating an evolutionary stone with Wormhole energy? or even evolving it inside a neutralized reality where Solgaleo or Lunala doesn't have clear dominion.

Also, the games only has 3 (4, if counting Smeargle) Pokemon that can use Psychic Fangs, Carvahna can have it bred down via Bruxish, but Lillipup has no way of gaining the move. this may be a predecessor, if in the case where if someone managed to breed a Rockruff with the move in Ultra Sun/Moon and trade it to S/M. and also as an early form of incorporating the legality of moves that USUM may bring once they revamp movesets. they can introduce new forms of Pokemon, but they wouldn't want to alienate people who might have Pokemon bred from one game and placed into another. they may have a brief clause where the latest games cannot be used for competitive. mainly concerning new forms (as the norm) as well as Ultra Beasts and Legendary Pokemon. [[WMG: Charmeleon and Charizard's attitude problems]]
I know there is already a WMG about this in the Rivals and Villains folder, but I'm taking a different route. Given that Damian was Charmander's first trainer my theory is that the fire-type subconsciously associated being a strong Trainer with being a jerk to your Pokemon. Unevolved
ignores Ash's "weakness", but as he became stronger he expected his new trainer to show his strength as well, but Ash treated Charmeleon the same.

Well, they are around. They don't disappear, nor are they killed (despite what SoylentGreen conspiracy theorists say). They receive different names, and try to excel at other areas. How to notice them? By their hair color, of course. Whitney and Maylene could be related to Joys, while Duplica and Suzie (the Vulpix girl) could be related to Jennies, and so on. A strange male variation of a Jenny would be Wallace. Although, not every aqua-haired person would be related to Jennies, or pink-haired ones to Joy, as it would make the family bonds way too much strict. Also, they don't even need to look different. Hell, look at [[http://pokesho.com/img_chara_us/anime3/i_marble.gif Marble]]! It's a Jenny with a different name!

* In AG, James is usually the last one to go for Meowth's increasingly deranged Boss Fantasies. This is because of increased exposure to Chimecho's Heal Bell, which enabled him to return some higher brain functions.

[[WMG: Darkrai in Anime/PokemonTheRiseOfDarkrai is the amnesiac Darkrai from PokemonMysteryDungeonExplorers.]]
What's more he wasn't revived in the end. The Darkrai seen at the top of the towers is Darkrai's past ''evil'' self watching and getting the idea from the recent battle to go back in time before his death and distort space in a manner that would send the world into darkness now that his freeze time plan had failed due to the actions of the player character of PokemonMysteryDungeonExplorers. What's more he also likely got the idea to use Palkia to kill the player character of PokemonMysteryDungeonExplorers to ensure that his plan succeeds.

Bouncing off the WMG with MissingNo being in the GS Ball, they are all real but in places where they can't do anything harmful to anyone. The pokemon in the GS Ball, however, is probably a glitch pokemon from gen two, since MissingNo no longer exists after Pokemon Yellow(although, people love to ignore that sort of thing). The more harmless glitches, however, are left alone where you can find them in-game. It's just that the people that know about them aren't stupid enough to go mess around with them.

Professor Oak lied, when he said, that Pikachu is not accustomed to humans. In fact, Pikachu already had a trainer, but he was an asshole, a coward, insulting and sometimes even hitting Pikachu and showing a lack of concern for his well-being. Because of that, his license was revoked, the trainer was placed in juvenile hall and the Pikachu was transferred back to the professor. When Ash proved himself to be courageous and concerned for Pikachu's well-being to the point of facing a flight of Spearrow all by himself, he saw that Ash resp. Satoshi was a worthy trainer and a true friend and warmed up to him.
