Only this time, it isn't actually Nightmare Moon herself, but is instead a [[CloningBlues clone]]. The creator of the clone created her in an attempt to take over Equestria. It becomes fairly obvious that the clone isn't 100% complete, as the clone seems to be more like an [[NightmareFuel animal]]. This is hammered in by the fact that she doesn't speak, but instead roars and growls and has EmptyEyes and/or GlowingEyesOfDoom. She'll also have a [[PerpetualSmiler perpetual]] SlasherSmile plastered on her face.

** Said members (possibly including Rainbow Dash herself) [[AntiHero will be g-rated anti-heroes with some questionable morals due to their lack of attention that the wonderbolts have]] [[NotEvilJustMisunderstood and thus appear somewhat jerk ass or a punch clock villain at first]] but would get some respect when rainbow joins in and help them get some respect and attention, and our good [[ZeroPercentApprovalRating Princess Luna possibly interacting with them a lot and relate to them in current condition]] [[GreenEyedMonster due to their jealousy to the pre-established wonderbolts.]]

** It could just be revealed that their relationship was purely platonic and the other ponies were wearing ShippingGoggles. Or they decided that their relationship wasn't going to work out and became JustFriends offscreen.

We all saw how bad her SuperOCD is and WordOfGod said that something possessed Princess Luna into Nightmare Moon. Whatever causes her to turn to the dark side, she would become a KnightTemplar type of villain who demands order. She's essentially the opposite of Discord, where order instead of chaos would reign. Her SuperpoweredEvilSide will show that extreme Order is not good. Her friends and family are [[FightingYourFriend forced to stop Twilight]] even by any [[KillTheOnesYouLove means necessary.]] But most importantly, can she [[EnemyWithin stop herself?]]

He and Starlight Glimmer's VA Creator/KellySheridan have [[RelationshipVoiceActor played couples in numerous other projects]], so why not have the two play childhood friends here as well?

Going even further from how Sombra was an expy of Sauron, this character will be revealed to have a large impact on the setting, to the point that Sombra had known of him/her/it and either worked for him/her/it, was taught by him/her/it, or otherwise been aided by him/her/it. This character will possibly be the {{Ultimate Evil}} of ''WesternAnimation/MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic''.

* Pinkie Pie: Child Pinkie Pie turned UpToEleven, may be a NietzscheWannabe. (Laughter)

* He will embody LawfulEvil in much the same way as Discord Embodied ChaoticEvil. The five-minute preview of the episode shows ponies from the crystal empire in chains, suggesting that he enslaved the populace of the Crystal Empire, likely for some sinister purpose... or possibly just to make sure they stay in line. Order above all, and woe betide anyone who puts a hoof out of line...
