* AscendedFanon: Not in the usual sense, but transcending fanon status for the purposes of this work. Quite a lot of stuff that is (and remains) merely {{fanon}} for the show is {{canon}} here. This includes interpretations of background ponies, such as Lyra obsessed with humans, [[DoctorWho Doctor Whooves]], Vinyl Scratch hosting a [[Fanfic/TheVinylScratchTapes radio show]], and even [[EquestriaDaily Sethisto]] showing up.

Not long after Act I was released, it was revealed that one member of the design team was intentionally sabotaging the project, but overwhelming fan response convinced the makers to continue.

In Febuary 2013 [[http://www.fillygamez.com/2013/02/its-been-fun.html Filly Gamez announced]] that due to negative feedback and a renewed sabotage incident, Filly Gamez had put Act 2 on hold and closed their doors for an indefinite period of time. A later edit to the announcement noted that they weren't dead, and that there may yet be a glimmer of hope for the project.

** If the player maxes out their anti-hero points, [[spoiler: when searching for Angel near the end of the Act the player can threaten to abandon him in the Everfree Forrest]], ultimately finishing the threat off by telling him to [[{{Terminator}} come with them if he wants to live]].

* NiceGuy: The protagonist, at best.

** However, the choice of these features ''does'' impact conversations, to a certain extent. For three examples, one for each species: [[spoiler: when Doctor Hooves asks you to fix his stuff, you have a much easier time doing it if you're a unicorn than if you're a pegasus or earth pony; both the pegasus and earth pony have to do it manually. When Rarity asks the protagonist to do a job for her by pulling a cart to a client and back to the boutique, the protagonist has a noticeably much easier time doing it if he/she's an earth pony (although a pegasus doesn't have quite as much trouble as a unicorn, who has it the worst, but the pegasus still finds it more difficult than the earth pony). If you're a pegasus, then when you meet the minor character "Cloudchaser", she actually ''offers you a job'' helping out with the clouds.]]

* LetsPlay: A few exist on YouTube, but not that many - unsurprising considering how recent the release of Act 1 was. One such let's play is being done by Creator/RLYoshi, the first part of which can be found [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLcQAThMQKg&feature=plcp here]].

* LetsSplitUpGang: The protagonist eventually insists on this when searching the Everfree Forest with Fluttershy. They say it's to cover more ground looking for Angel Bunny, but since they don't know their way around and have no delusions about the forest ''not'' being dangerous and were quite worried about that just previously, it seems like a case of the IdiotBall. Naturally, it serves a plot purpose.

* LetsSplitUpGang: The protagonist eventually insists on this when searching the Everfree Forest with Fluttershy -- more for the sake of the plot than because it makes sense, it seems.
** A reason is given that makes sense, though--it's because they're in the forest in the first place in order to look for Fluttershy's pet bunny Angel, and if they split up, they can cover more ground and thus find Angel more quickly.
