* AwesomeButImpractical: Toki and Towa's ultimate spells. Not only do they have long cast times (risking an easy interruption and only really being feasible when using very limited Time Magic), but also cost a whopping 130 SP, requiring using three Passive Skill slots to even reach that much. And, by the time the heroines are at a high-enough level to unlock them, hitting an enemy's weakness with a tier 1 or 2 spell will likely do similar damage thanks to the DamageCap limiting it to 99,999.

* AntiFrustrationFeatures: Items that increase/decrease encounter rates and increase money+experience earned in battle are all available in the store as the game progresses. The items that allow Toki and Towa to swap at will are more limited, but still plentiful.

%%* BossBanter: {{Lampshaded}} in several fights.

%%* * BoringButPractical:
** The rifle attack doesn't do the most damage, especially with Towa, but it's the most reliable way to build SP in order to unleash more powerful skills.
** The tier 1 elemental spells end up being far more useful than the tier 2 or 3 ones due to their lower SP costs, faster cast times, and being much more reliable in setting up Chemisty. Two tier 1 spells will also do more damage than a single tier 2 spell for the overall same SP cost.
*
BossBanter: Every major boss fight has a good amount of dialogue between the heroes and their opponent. In several cases, there's also unique dialogue depending on which heroine is active. Often {{Lampshaded}} in several fights.when they talk about how much they tend to talk during battle.

Moving character tropes to Characters page.

* IJustWantToHaveFriends: [[spoiler:Reijo. She only wished for wealth in order to be on the same social level as Toki so they could be friends]].
* HairOfGoldHeartOfGold: Towa skirts the line on this one as her outward mannerisms do hide the fact of [[HiddenHeartOfGold how kind she really is]].
* HelloInsertNameHere: The hero's default name is Zack, but it can be changed. Consequentially, [[HeyYou no one refers to him by name]].
* HiddenInPlainSight: Toki has never made a public appearance, so she can go anywhere in town with most people not even knowing she's the princess.

* {{Jerkass}}: Zack, if the player makes such choices. Throughout the game, he can constantly makes passes at other girls, Toki/Towa's friends included, yet [[{{Hypocrite}} gets pissed whenever Ricardo tries to hit on her]]. He's a ChivalrousPervert without the "chivalrous" part. Reijo realizes this and it's one of the reasons why she names him after various weeds. Toki also appears to be aware of it too since she will use it against him from time to time. [[spoiler:He gets better as CharacterDevelopment kicks in during the latter half of the game]].
* TheKlutz: Wedi.
* KnifeNut: Towa, especially at the start of the game, but she mellows out a bit over the course.
* LethalChef: Ricardo's cakes are so bad that they cause whoever eats them to witness a NearDeathExperience and grant them the ability to see and communicate with ghosts. Used as a PlotPoint.
** [[spoiler:Subverted twice: First when it's revealed that he initially was a great baker, but then got inspired ([[StableTimeLoop by Drake no less]]) to start using fish as ingredients and thus ruining his cakes from then on. It takes Toki/Towa's grandmother's complaint in the third chapter for him to take this seriously and go on a training trip to "pretend" learn how to make good cakes. It surprisingly worked. Second is in the ending when, after the ResetButton is pushed, he's never inspired to use bad ingredients and becomes the best baker in the kingdom]].

* LikesOlderWomen: It takes the entire game to learn who Second Grade Genius Kilka is in love with. Turns out to be [[spoiler:Makimona]].
* LimitedWardrobe: {{Lampshaded}} during a round of BossBanter. Toki has several copies of her outfit while Towa mentions she just washes it whenever she takes a bath.
* LoveAtFirstSight: As a result of the ResetButton at the end of the game, [[spoiler:the chosen heroine accepts Zack's marriage proposal immediately despite her believing they "just" met]].

* MasculineGirlFeminineBoy: Towa and Zack, especially in her normal ending wherein she re-enacts the "bride carrying the groom" scene often used to visually depict the trope.

* {{Meido}}: One of Toki's gallery images.
* MeaningfulName: Toki and Towa literally mean [[TitleDrop "Time" and "Eternity"]] respectively.

* MundaneUtility: [[spoiler:Moebius wants to control time in order to... hang around in bars drinking and watching ballgames every night]].
* MyGodWhatHaveIDone: [[spoiler:Reijo]] after stabbing Toki during the Chapter 2 wedding scene, made even worse when the characters realize [[spoiler:she wasn't doing it of her own free will]].
* NakedApron: One of Towa's gallery images.

* NiceHat: Reijo and Wedi both sport some very nice headwear when they're seen outside.
* TheNicknamer: Reijo will often refer to Zack as different types of weeds.

* OutOfClothesExperience: Toki, when using her time travel ability.

* PantyShot: Mostly during battle given Toki/Towa's acrobatic moves in a short skirt. Almost counts as a FreezeFrameBonus.

* RagsToRiches: [[spoiler:Reijo made a deal with Netherdrake to get the wealth necessary to hit Toki's social group]].
* RichBitch: Reijo has all the trappings of the trope, [[spoiler:but it's all a front (and not even a particularly convincing one)]].
* RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: Toki (and Towa), of course.
* RummageSaleReject: Wedi, primarily because she really just doesn't care what she wears.

* SadisticChoice:
** Reijo is forced into one in Chapter 2, asked to kill Toki or risk losing what she cherishes most. [[spoiler:Zack, Toki, Towa, and Reijo all figure out that ''Toki'' is what she cherishes most, allowing them to turn the Catch22 on Netherdrake]].
** Zack and, by extension, the player must make one in the normal ending: [[spoiler:choosing which one of Toki or Towa to erase from existence]].

* SayingSoundEffectsOutLoud: Toki has a tendency to say "Gunshot!" when firing her rifle in battle.

* ShowerScene: Several sidequests involve finding ways to clear the steam in the bathroom in order to get a peek at Toki/Towa while she's showering.

* SplitPersonality: Toki and Towa in the form of two souls in one body.

* SlasherSmile: Towa in her menu artwork and the loading screen.

* SupportingProtagonist: Zack. He'll also provide support in battle.
* SwordAndGun: The princess uses a rifle for long range attacks, a knife for close-range. Toki and Towa specialize in one over the other.

* ThenLetMeBeEvil: The Assassins Guild has no intention of attacking the royal wedding... until they are repeatedly accused of intending to attack the royal wedding. Roboboss gets fed up with it (and is given a cake by [[LethalChef Ricardo]]) and decides they'll just launch the attack anyways.

* TokenMiniMoe: Enda.
* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: Toki is classically feminine, whilst Towa is harder than Zack is.
* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:Wedi invokes this in Chapter 3, going out of her way to make a bond with a golem to protect Toki and Zack at the wedding]].
* TrainingFromHell: Towa wouldn't have it any other way, especially since she'd rather spend her honeymoon at a cabin in snow-covered mountains because of the harsh conditions. This explains how Toki is in such great shape.
* {{Tsundere}}: Towa, to the extent that she has ''one animation'' for 'turn away indignantly, then turn back and softly smile'.
* UnorthodoxSheathing: In cutscenes, Towa's default knife-draw animation has her pull it out of its sheath, flip it into the air before her, and then catch it with her other hand. She also sheathes it in a similar matter.
* VillainousBreakdown: [[spoiler:Netherdrake]] gets a hilariously epic one in Chapter 2 when the heroes threaten to [[spoiler:report him to the Better Business Bureau]].
* WhatDoesSheSeeInHim: Both Reijo and Towa initially wonder that about Zack when they can clearly tell he's a bit of a pervert, but Toki will always defend his good points, especially the fact that he is honest and never goes back on his word.
* WhyDidItHaveToBeSnakes: Towa is afraid of ghosts, bugs, and slimy things.

* BadBadActing: Makimona doesn't fool anyone when she tries to act as a spirit medium.
* BadassAdorable: Both Toki and Towa, with Toki leaning more towards the adorable side and Towa more towards badass.
* BarbieDollAnatomy: Toki when she Time Leaps.

* TheBeastmaster: Twisted. Toki and Towa believe they're this with Drake following their commands but, because Zack is inhabiting Drake's body and is in full control to willingly help them out, it doesn't fully apply.
* BecauseYouWereNiceToMe: Why Toki's friendship is so important to Reijo.
%%* BigBad: [[spoiler:Sanders]] a.k.a. [[spoiler:Moebius]].

* BoobsOfSteel: Toki/Towa is actually fairly well-endowed, second only to Wedi and maybe Makimona, and she kicks the asses of golems, assassins, robots, vampires, zombies, dragons, and even [[spoiler:the humanized essence of Time itself]]!

* BrainwashedAndCrazy: [[spoiler:Makimona in Chapter 3, with a hint of GreenEyedMonster]].

* TheChewToy: If there's physical pain to be dished out in the name of humor, Ricardo is the target. Mainly because he does ''not'' stop attempting to propose to Toki/Towa and draws Drake's ire. He'll often find himself at the wrong end of Towa's knife on top of that if he pushes her too far.
* ChildhoodMarriagePromise: The driving force behind the plot, but not in the way one might initially think. [[spoiler:The promise was made between Toki and ''Towa'' when they were kids and were only repeating the words of the ceremony as a means of declaring themselves "best friends forever," but still carrying enough cosmic force behind it to prevent Zack and Toki's wedding until the promise could be broken (or never made at all)]].
* ChristmasCake: Makimona.

* CovertPervert: Zack has some naughty thoughts about the princess or her friends time and again, but never actively tries to do anything to them that he shouldn't.
** He does, however, completely fail to hide the fact that he's thinking perverted thoughts. His face gives him away every time, even as a dragon.
** Other active choices that involve Toki/Towa are left up to the player.
* CloudCuckoolander: Wedi.

* CuteClumsyGirl: Wedi.

* DirtyOldMan: Olden.

* EarlyBirdCameo: Toki's grandma, Eva, appears in the wedding cutscenes long before she's encountered in-game.

* EntertaininglyWrong: Toki and Towa assume that Makimona must know something about the attack on the wedding, because there was nothing supernatural about her prediction. There ''isn't'' anything supernatural about it; [[ContrivedCoincidence she just took a wild guess]].

* GenkiGirl: Enda.

* GratuitousSpanish: Ricardo in the English dub, GratuitousEnglish in Japanese.
