In the third game, ''[[http://www.bigfishgames.com/games/8471/phantasmat-the-endless-night-ce/ Endless Night]]'', you play the mother of a high school student who is headed to her prom. But events from the past are coming back to haunt you.

In the sixth game, ''Town of Lost Hope'', a trip to a sports game takes a wrong turn as you and your family have to evade a dangerous serial killer.

In the seventh game ''Reign of Shadows'', you are making a trip to give your sister the news of your father's passing. A simple journey to deliver the will turns deadly as malevolent shadows start invading the Arcadia Resort.

Soon, they start having flashbacks about the town, and realize that the people here aren't what they seem.

A beta for the second game, ''Crucible Peak'' has been released. It takes place in the Alps, and the protagonist winds up in an hotel and village that has become empty due to an avalanche years ago. It also seems as if someone is stalking them.

What is interesting about this game is that its Hidden Object Scenes can be swapped for a Match-3 mode. By obtaining golden eyes that drop to the bottom of the screen, they can be used to immediately obtain objects on the list.

!!Tropes present throughout the series include:
* FeaturelessProtagonist: Both games have this. ''Crucible Peak'' ramps this up by revealing the protagonist donning black snow gear and a huge set of goggles to obscure their face.
* Flashback: The protagonist gains these throughout the game. [[spoiler: They are crucial to understanding the backstories of the "spirits" that still linger.]]
* GhostTown

!!Tropes present in Phantasmat:
* ClosedCircle: The game takes place in the ruins of the city. [[spoiler: The people there can't leave until they finally recognize the fact that they're dead.]]
* [[spoiler:DeadAllAlong: The Hotel Owner, Mayor's Wife and Girl/Young Bride have been dead ever since the dam broke.]]
* EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep: The Hotel Owner, Mayor's Wife and Girl[[spoiler:/Young Bride]].
* {{Foreshadowing}}: If you look closely, just as the Hotel Owner steps forward, [[spoiler: His eyes are glowing and he's covered in seaweed]].
* GlowingEyesOfDoom: [[spoiler: All three souls gain these as you uncover more of their past and the more they deny it.]]
* OrIsIt: [[spoiler: The ending of the game has the protagonist close their eyes like they were getting a flashback. The Collector's Edition reveals that they've been sent to the past, moments prior to the dam breaking in order to let the Young Bride's spirit--who is in denial about her fiancee leaving her behind--finally be put to rest.]]
* YourCheatingHeart: [[spoiler: The Girl/The Young Bride fell in love with a stranger and waited to marry him at the church. Unfortunately, this was when the flood came in and she died waiting for a lover that would never come.]]

!!Tropes present in Crucible Peak:
* SnowMeansDeath: The town in this game, and many of its inhabitants, died from an unforseen avalanche.
