* {{Badass}}: Isaac is much less mentally stable in this game (and that's saying something), but seems utterly determined to ''not die'' no matter ''what'' happens to him. When his personal nightmare (Necromorphs) show up immediately after he wakes up from cryosleep, the very first thing he does is to HEADBUTT it and then start running. In fact, he seems much more "together" while killing Necromorphs than he does while confronting his hallucinations.

* DamnYouMuscleMemory: Oddly enough, the fact that Isaac isn't nearly as sluggish and slow as he was in the first game (and that the mouse movement is much more precise) will throw off players who now have much more fluid controls to work with.

On Consoles, the controls have changed from reload and activating things both being the same button to separating the two and they've made way for a new quick stasis pack button.

This is true even if Isaac manages to thresh through them [[GameplayAndStorySegregation without any difficulty]], but that could be because he's trapped.

This even applies to corpses whom you talking with 15 seconds ago. FanWank assumes that Isaac activates his gravity boots as he stomps ForMassiveDamage.
