Hello there. I'm Gaunt, budding scientist and wannabe author hailing from Australia.

I no longer post under this username - I now go as LittleMako.

I'm an avid gamer, but I'm more interested in the story mode than multplayer. I also consume way too many Science Fiction books and anime for my own good.

My first gaming love was {{Halo}}, and as such it holds a special place in my heart. I'm also a fan of the {{Marathon}}, MassEffect, and DeusEx series, as well as "real-world" tactical shooters like RainbowSix and GhostRecon. I enjoy turn-based strategy games like AdvanceWars and FinalFantasyTacticsAdvance2, and I used to play Warhammer40K regularly. I have recently discovered a love for arcadey air-combat-sims like H.A.W.X and AceCombat.

On the anime/manga front, I'm a big fan of GhostInTheShell, CodeGeass, MagicalGirlLyricalNanoha and {{Negima}}. I follow several webcomics, mainly GirlGenius, {{Homestuck}}, GunnerkriggCourt and DarthsAndDroids. Tv shows I follow include {{Spooks}} and DoctorWho, and I'm a fan of web shows such as ZeroPunctuation and LoadingReadyRun.

In Season Two I somehow found myself promoted to sub-[[GameMaster GM]], and play as [[MagicalGirlLyricalnanoha Subaru Nakajima]]. I've continued my run into the third and final season by playing [[MassEffect Garrus Vakarian]], and later [[GirlGenius Agatha Heterodyne]]. In August 2011 I stepped down from my [=GMship=] of the MMFRPG, although I'm still a (semi)active player.
